(11/28/2014) As expected, the Bengals have ruled out linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee) and defensive end Margus Hunt (ankle) for the Sunday game against Tampa Bay.

The team is otherwise healthy. Linebacker Nico Johnson (illness) has been deemed questionable while defensive end Robert Geathers (toe), safety George Iloka (groin), wideout Greg Little (illness) and offensive lineman Mike Pollak (knee) are probable.

(10/17/2014) Five Bengals are either assured or all but assured of being inactive Sunday at Indianapolis. Wide receiver Marvin Jones (ankle) and linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring) have been ruled out while wideout A.J. Green (toe), linebacker Emmanuel Lamur (shoulder) and defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) are all doubtful.

The rest of the injured are probable. They are defensive end Wallace Gilberry (eye), safety George Iloka (groin) and offensive linemen Kevin Zeitler (calf), Andre Smith (shoulder) and Mike Pollak (knee).


Bengals list nine players on final injury report

(10/10/2014) The Bengals listed nine players on their final injury report for Week 6 at home against Carolina.

Outside of star receiver A.J. Green (toe) being questionable for Sunday, Vontaze Burfict (concussion) is the most notable name on the report. He was a full participant in practice all week after receiving clearance from team doctors and is listed as probable. He will need to be given the green light by an independent neurologist in order to play Sunday.

Other probables include safety George Iloka (abdomen), linebacker Rey Maualuga (shoulder), offensive lineman Mike Pollak (knee) and linebacker Vincent Rey (calf). Outside of Green, wide receiver Marvin Jones (ankle), who missed practice all week, was the only other player deemed questionable on the list. Defensive tackle Brandon Thompson (knee) and guard Kevin Zeitler (calf) were both ruled doubtful for the home game.

(9/14/2014) Bengals defensive back George Iloka, who entered the day with just one career interception, tripled that total Week 2 against Atlanta, picking off quarterback Matt Ryan twice in the second half.

Iloka also had a solo tackle.

(12/22/2013) Bengals defensive back George Iloka and linebacker Rey Maualuga each intercepted quarterback Matt Cassel Week 16 against the Vikings, joining linebacker Vincent Rey, who returned his pick for a touchdown. It was both players' first interception this season.

Iloka also had two tackles, including one solo. Maualuga also had three tackles, including one solo.

(12/13/2013) The Bengals are quite healthy heading into their Week 15 game against Indianapolis. Cornerback Terence Newman (knee) has been ruled out, but the rest of their Friday injury report features all probables.

That group includes linebackers James Harrison (illness) and Vontaze Burfict (illness/thigh), defensive end Wallace Gilberry (knee), running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness), safety George Iloka (concussion), wide receiver Marvin Jones (shoulder) and guard Kevin Zeitler (foot).


George Iloka leaves with head injury, is questionable to return

(12/8/2013) Bengals safety George Iloka left Sunday's game against the Colts with a head injury. Iloka was injured on LeVon Brazill's 19-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. 

At the time he was hurt, Iloka had three tackles. He has 58 on the season.

Iloka has managed at least six tackles in three of his last four games. He has 15 tackles in his last two games. Illoka has a career-high 34 tackles (20 solo) through seven games.

Bengals list inactives for third preseason game

(8/24/2013) As expected, Bengals wide receiver Andrew Hawkins was ruled inactive for Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys as he continues to nurse an ankle injury, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Hawkins will remove the cast on his ankle this week, but is expected to remain in a walking boot for at least two weeks.

The following players were inactive for Saturday's game: quarterback Zac Robinson, defensive back Brandon Ghee, running back Bernard Scott, fullback Chris Pressley, safety George Iloka, linebackers Brandon Joiner and Sean Porter, offensive linemen Andrew Whitworth and Otis Hudson and defensive end Carlos Dunlap.
