News: Second-year receiver T.J. Graham told the official team website that he fits in nicely with what new Bills head coach Doug Marrone wants to do. "Last year I was just trying figure out where to park my car at," said Graham. "This year I know more about the game and what to expect. ... I just happened to be fortunate to get a really good staff in here that can teach me and other receivers [to be better]. Its a really good system and I like it. Its wide open."
Analysis: Graham's incredible speed should play well in the Bills' offense, though there are some questions about who will be throwing him the ball and if the quarterback can hit him in stride down the boundaries. Graham caught 31 passes for just 322 yards last season but did hit on two passes for 40-plus yards each. He also scored once. With a bump in playing time expected Graham might be worth a late-round pick.
News: Bills wide receiver T.J. Graham caught three passes for 49 yards in Week 16 against the Dolphins, the third week in a row he has had at least three receptions. Graham was targeted seven times in the 24-10 loss.
Analysis: Graham has had moments of being useful, but his production still leaves much to be desired overall. He has certainly played a bigger role recently, averaging 38.4 yards per game over the last five. Still, his role on the team is not large enough to be worth using on a weekly basis in the majority of Fantasy formats.
News: With Donald Jones (calf) inactive, Bills wide receiver T.J. Graham received the start in Week 15 against the Seahawks. He caught three passes for 32 yards in the 50-17 loss.
Analysis: Graham has posted more than three catches in just one game thus far in his rookie campaign and has along way to go before becoming a reliable option in Fantasy. While he has some decent upside, continue to ignore the 23-year-old in the majority of formats down the stretch.
News: Bills rookie wide receiver T.J. Graham has put together the most solid two-game stretch of his career, catching four passes for 78 total yards over the last two weeks. It doesn't sound like much, but Graham has an opportunity to ride that momentum into a Week 14 matchup with St. Louis, as both Donald Jones and Steve Johnson are nursing injuries.
Analysis: Chances are pretty good that both Jones and Johnson play, but they could still be limited in the game with injuries, leaving the door slightly ajar for Graham. The 54 yards he had in Week 13 -- a season high -- were thanks mostly to a 51-yard catch in the first quarter. We're talking very deep formats here -- like if Graham is one of the top 10 options on your waiver wire -- but he has a decent enough situation and skill to have an impact in leagues with 18-20 teams.
News: Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had only 112 passing yards because of rainy and windy conditions Week 13 against the Jaguars. Of those 112, 51 came on a single play to T.J. Graham, who caught a pass over the top of the defense in the first quarter and nearly took it all the way to the end zone. He finished the day with two catches (on two targets) for 54 yards.
Analysis: The last time Graham, a rookie, had more than two catches in a game was way back in Week 4, and his 54 yards in Week 13 were a season high. Though he made a nice play against the Jaguars, it's unlikely to become the norm for him. He should remain on waivers in virtually all Fantasy formats.
News: In the Bills' Week 12 loss at the Colts, rookie receiver T.J. Graham worked as the third receiver and caught a pair of screen passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick. The first was a brilliant play for 24 yards, the second was snuffed out for a zero-yard gain.
Analysis: Graham doesn't have much Fantasy relevance and shouldn't be a part of rosters at this point, though he has some long-term appeal. The Bills host the Jaguars in Week 13.
News: Bills wide receiver T.J. Graham did not make much of an impact as he caught just two passes for five yards in a 19-14 victory over the Dolphins in Week 11.
Analysis: Graham has not been able to make a huge impact in Fantasy and has been held under 15 yards in his last four games. He is way to inconsistent for Fantasy owners to rely on, so keep him on waivers heading into Week 12 at Indianapolis.
News: Buffalo receiver T.J. Graham had two catches for 4 yards Sunday at Houston in Week 9. he had three targets in the game.
Analysis: Graham has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues. He is not worth using in most formats in Week 10 at New England.
News: Bills wide receiver T.J. Graham was not much of an impact during Sunday's Week 5 contest against the 49ers. Graham was targeted just three times as he caught two passes for 24 yards in a 45-3 defeat.
Analysis: Graham has racked up just 58 yards in his last two games since scoring his first career touchdown in Week 3. He has taken the backseat to Steve Johnson and Scott Chandler in the passing game and is in a wide open race with Donald Jones to become Ryan Fitzpatrick second option at the wide receiver position. For now, however, Graham can be put on your scout team and left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest leagues.
News: Bills wide receiver T.J. Graham was targeted eight times on Sunday against the Patriots. He caught four of those passes for 34 yards.
Analysis: Graham had his first career touchdown in Week 3 and had arguably his most involved day in the offense in Week 4 against the Patriots. He could have had a much better set of statistics, but Ryan Fitzpatrick overthrew and underthrew him in the second quarter (with the underthrow resulting in a touchdown), and missed him again deep in the third quarter. One bright side to all of this is that Fitzpatrick looked to Graham frequently, and if he can make better throws, Graham could have a nice breakout game. For now, however, Graham can be put on your scout team and left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest leagues.
News: Bills rookie receiver T.J. Graham is looking to follow up his first career touchdown in Week 3 with a slightly bigger game this Sunday against the Patriots.
Analysis: The door is wide open for Graham, who has blazing speed, to work his way into a bigger role on the team, as David Nelson is out for the season with a knee injury, Donald Jones has been inconsistent, and Ryan Fitzpatrick's assumed No. 2 is tight end Scott Chandler. Graham had a nice performance against the Browns in Week 3, with three catches on five targets for 24 yards and a touchdown. He's probably not going to take the immediate step up to seven catches for 88 yards and a touchdown, but if Stevie Johnson and Chandler can pull some of the defenses away, Graham's speed could free him up for a long pass or two. Consider Graham waiver wire fodder in most leagues, but keep an eye on his progress if you're light on WR depth going forward.
News: Bills rookie receiver T.J. Graham had the first touchdown of his pro career Week 3 at Cleveland. Graham kicked off the scoring when he hauled in a 9-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in the first quarter. He finished with three catches for 24 yards on five targets. He came into the game with one catch for 7 yards.
Analysis: The Bills said Graham would be more involved on offense after they lost slot receiver David Nelson to a season-ending knee injury. We started to see Graham get more involved Week 3, but by no stretch of the imagination did he have a monster game. The touchdown was good, but Graham still has a long ways to go to becoming Fantasy relevant. He remains just a low-end reserve in the deepest of formats heading into Week 4 against New England.
News: Bills coach Chan Gailey told reporters Monday wide receiver T.J. Graham will see an increased role on offense after David Nelson suffered a season-ending knee injury Week 1 against the Jets.
Analysis: Graham is a rookie out of N.C. State. He is a speed guy that could help stretch the field for Buffalo, but he had no targets Sunday after Nelson left the game, so he still has some work to do before he becomes a viable Fantasy option. Merely keep Graham on your watch list at this time. Donald Jones probably sees an immediate Fantasy boost in the wake of Nelson's injury.
News: CBSSports.com NFL Insider Pat Kirwan writes from Bills camp that rookie receiver T.J. Graham's speed is completely obvious, but so are other issues in his game, his route running especially. "[H]e needs to learn to separate from the press coverage his defensive teammates have been using on him," Kirwan said of Graham. "He can beat the tight coverage but not in time to get deep."
Analysis: We foresee Graham being a part-time player in Buffalo until he can legitimately beat tight coverage. Once that happens then he might wind up being a real factor in games. Figure him to be too inconsistent to use this season but potentially blossom starting in 2013. Take him with a late pick in deeper dynasty/keeper leagues and with a middle-round pick in rookie-only drafts.
News: Bills head coach Chan Gailey told the official team website that rookie receiver T.J. Graham is being caught up on the offense. Graham is battling for playing time on offense this summer, something he'll likely have a little amount of simply because most of the other receivers on the Bills have been in Gailey's system for several years. For now, the Bills are being patient in hopes that they can use Graham as a field stretcher. He caught the ball well, said Gailey after some team practices. He can run fast. He can catch a football. Im anxious to see how he can develop as time goes on."
Analysis: We've known for years that Gailey loves speed, and it's assumed he'll find a way to take advantage of Graham's speed (4.41 in the 40-yard dash) on special teams first and offense second. It might take a while for Graham to be relevant in the Bills' offense. Take him with a late pick in deeper dynasty/keeper leagues and with a late pick in rookie-only drafts.
News: The Bills moved up two spots in the third round of the NFL draft to select North Carolina State receiver T.J. Graham. Listed at 6-feet and 180 pounds, Graham led Wolfpack receivers with 46 catches and seven touchdowns in 13 games, including 12 starts last season. He also doubled as a kickoff return specialist, finishing with 3,153 return yards to set an ACC record. Bills head coach Chan Gailey readily admitted that Graham needs work as a receiver. "He's not polished," Gailey said. "[I]f he had been a three-year guy he'd probably been a little bit higher up the board."
Analysis: We've known for years that Gailey loves speed, and it's assumed he'll find a way to take advantage of Graham's speed (4.41 in the 40-yard dash) on special teams first and offense second.
