Jaguars list Week 16 inactives vs. Titans

(12/18/2014) The Jaguars listed the following players as inactive for Thursday night's week 16 battle with the Titans: wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdomen), defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee), defensive end Andre Branch (groin), cornerbacks Teddy Williams and Jeremy Harris, safety Matt Daniels and guard Tyler Shatley.

Streeter and Miller were listed as questionable to play Thursday on the team's final injury report, while Branch was previously ruled out. The Jaguars have three quarterbacks active for the game, including first-stringer Blake Bortles (foot), who was listed as questionable to play.


Jaguars release injury report for Thursday game

(12/17/2014) Defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) are the lone Jaguars ruled out for the Thursday game against the Titans.

Among the questionables are defensive end Ryan Davis (hip), defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot) and wideout Tommy Streeter (abdomen).

Defensive end Chris Clemons (knee) and wide receiver Marqise Lee (elbow) are probable.


Blake Bortles among Jags cleared to face Baltimore

(12/14/2014) Jaguars rookie quarterback Blake Bortles will start Sunday's game at Baltimore after being listed as probable with a shoulder injury. Other probables suiting up are running back Toby Gerhart (ankle), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), safety Josh Evans (finger), wideout Tommy Streeter (abdomen) and linebacker J.T. Thomas III (ankle).

(12/5/2014) The Jaguars have ruled out defensive end Andre Branch (groin) and linebacker Khairi Fortt (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Texans.

Linebacker LaRoy Reynolds (neck) and wide receiver Tommy Streeter (abdominal strain) were both deemed as questionable, despite practicing Friday.

Meanwhile, quarterback Blake Bortles (right shoulder, left ankle), defensive end Chris Clemons (knee), safety Josh Evans (foot), linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle), running back Toby Gerhart (shoulder) and defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks (foot) were ruled out Week 14.


Jaguars dump WR Brown, promote WR Streeter

(11/28/2014) The Jaguars have released Mike Brown and signed fellow wide receiver Tommy Streeter from their practice squad.

Brown has been a disappointment this season after catching 32 passes a year ago. He caught seven passes for 88 yards in the first five games combined and has not played since.

DeCosta talks up WRs

(5/7/2013) With the Ravens expected to have a big competition for spots on the wide receiver depth chart, assistant general manager Eric DeCosta touted Deonte Thompson as "a guy we think is going to be a good player" according to the Baltimore Sun. DeCosta also said the team was excited about Tandon Doss and that David Reed has "flashed in practice and made plays." DeCosta wouldn't rule out adding another veteran receiver before training camp.

(4/18/2013) Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti told the official team website that while there could be a mix of players in line to replace Anquan Boldin in the offense, second-year man Tommy Streeter could make the leap. "[Coaches] liked Tommy Streeter's development by the end of the year," Bisciotti said. "They thought that he finally started to get what it was like to be a pro."
