Dansby, Cameron among Browns inactives Week 12

(11/23/2014) Browns linebacker Karlos Dansby, tight end Jordan Cameron, wide receiver Marlon Moore, wide receiver Rodney Smith, cornerback Pierre Desir, cornerback Robert Nelson and offensive lineman Vinston Painter were all ruled inactive Week 12 at Atlanta.

Five Browns inactives Sunday are healthy scratches

(11/16/2014) Two concussed Browns have been declared inactive for their Week 11 game against Houston. They are tight end Jordan Cameron and defensive back Johnson Bademosi.

The healthy scratches are wideout Rodney Smith, cornerback Pierre Desir, running back Glenn Winston, offsensive lineman Vinston Painter and linebacker Keith Pough.


Browns list inactives for Week 10

(11/6/2014) The Browns have made Jordan Cameron, Andrew Hawkins, Johnson Bademosi, Pierre Desir, Glenn Winston, Robert Nelson and Vinston Painter inactive Week 10 against the Bengals.

Hawkins is the biggest surprise on the list. He was questionable coming into the game due to a foot injury, and was a late scratch. Both Bademosi and Cameron had already been ruled out prior to Thursday. The other four players are healthy scratches. 


Two key Browns among injured inactives for Sunday

(11/2/2014) Three injured Browns have been ruled out for their Sunday game against Tampa Bay. They are tight end Jordan Cameron (concussion), defensive tackle Phillip Taylor (knee) and wideout Rodney Smith (hamstring).

The healthy inactives are defensive backs Robert Nelson and Pierre Desir, offensive lineman Vinston Painter and running back Glenn Winston.

The healthy scratches are cornerbacks Pierre Desir and Robert Nelson, running back Glenn Winston and offensive lineman Vinston Painter.

(2/2/2014) The Broncos listed defensive tackle Sione Fua (calf), cornerback Quentin Jammer, tight end Joel Dreessen, running back Ronnie Hillman, guard Chris Kuper, offensive tackle Vinston Painter and quarterback Zac Dysert as inactive for the Super Bowl.

With Hillman inactive, rookie C.J. Anderson will serve as the No. 3 running back. Cornerback Marquice Cole replaces Jammer on the active roster.

(1/15/2014) The Broncos have promoted rookie tackle Vinston Painter off their practice squad, possibly to prevent the 49ers from snagging him, the Denver Post has speculated. Denver is healthy along that front at his point. Painter was a sixth-round pick in the 2013 draft.

Earlier Tuesday, Denver signed former Patriots cornerback Marquice Cole.


Broncos announce cuts to get down to final 53

(8/31/2013) Running back Lance Ball and offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who was attempting a comeback, where the two most notable cuts made by the Broncos on Saturday.

The offensive cuts were as follows: center C.J. Davis, running back Jeremiah Johnson, tight end Jake O'Connell, offensive lineman Philip Blake, tackle Paul Cornick, wide receiver Tavarres King, tackle Vinston Painter, wide receiver Gerell Robinson and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas.

Those on defense waived were end Jeremy Beal, tackle Romney Fuga, tackle Ben Garland, cornerback Aaron Hester, linebacker Damien Holmes, safety Ross Rasner and defensive end John Youboty.

The Broncos also placed linebackers Stewart Bradley and Lerentee McCray, as well as defensive end Quanterus Smith on IR. Star linebacker Von Miller is now on the Reserve/Suspended list.
