Raiders list Week 16 inactives vs. Bills

(12/21/2014) The Raiders have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 16 matchup with the Bills:  wide receivers Vincent Brown (groin) and Denarius Moore (knee, ankle), tight end Brian Leonhardt (concussion), cornerback Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring), guard Tony Bergstrom, tackle Menelik Watson and defensive tackle Stacy McGee.

Brown, Moore, Leonhard and Chewka were previously ruled out on the team's final injury report for Week 16. Bergstrom, Watson and McGee are healthy scratches.

The team will have cornerback D.J. Hayden (back) and defensive tackle C.J. Wilson (knee) available after both players were listed as questionable to play. Also active are quarterback Derek Carr (thumb) and cornerback T.J. Carrie (ankle), both of whom were deemed probable.

The Raiders are a 6 1/2-point underdog at home against the Bills.


Raiders unveil final injury for Bills game

(12/19/2014) The Raiders released their final injury report for the Week 16 game against the Bills and listed quarterback Derek Carr (thumb) and cornerback T.J. Carrie (ankle) as probable.

The only players listed as questionable are defensive lineman C.J. Wilson (knee) and cornerback D.J. Hayden (back).

The Raiders listed the following players as out: Vincent Brown (groin), Tarell Brown (foot), Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring), Brian Leonhardt (concussion), Menelik Watson (foot) and Denarius Moore (knee).

The Raiders are 6 1/2-point underdogs.

(11/28/2014) Four Raiders have been ruled out for their Sunday game in St. Louis, including running back Latavius Murray (concussion). The others are safety Jonathan Dowling (back) and cornerbacks Carlos Rogers (knee) and Neiko Thorpe (hand).

Listed as questionable is guard Gabe Jackson (knee) while safety Larry Asante (shoulder), cornerback T.J. Carrie (ankle) and tight end Brian Leonhardt (concussion) are probable.


Raiders' Tony Sparano optimistic Jackson, Carrie will play Week 13

(11/21/2014) Raiders coach Tony Sparano is optimistic that guard Gabe Jackson (knee) and cornerback T.J. Carrie (ankle) will be able to play in Week 13 against the Rams, CSNBayArea.com reports.

"There’s optimism," Sparano told the media. "Again, I say that today, and just went over a few of those things a little while ago. But yes, there’s optimism there."

Jackson has missed three straight games with his injury, while Carrie has played just once in the last three games.

Carrie (ankle), safety Jonathan Dowling (back), tight end David Ausberry (foot), guards Gabe Jackson (knee) and Tony Bergstrom and quarterback Matt McGloin.

Jackson was listed as questionable to play in the Week 12 divisional battle, while Rogers, Carrie, Dowling and Ausberry had previously been ruled out. The 0-10 Raiders are looking to end a 16-game losing streak Thursday.

Ausberry, Rogers and Dowling were all previously ruled out for Sunday's game, so their absence isn't a surprise. The Raiders had two players listed as questionable, but both Justin Tuck (neck) and T,J, Carrie (ankle) are active. Also active are the team's five probables, including tackles Khalif Barnes (quad) and Menelik Watson (concussion), running back Jamize Olawale (shoulder, hamstring) and cornerbacks D.J. (11/6/2014) Raiders rookie cornerback T.J. Carrie was back on the practice field Thursday despite an ankle issue.

Carrie has participated in every game this season and has made two starts in the last four. He appears likely to play against Denver on Sunday.

David Ausberry (foot), Vincent Brown (hamstring), Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring) and Keith McGill were ruled out for Week 9. Carlos Rogers (knee) is the only player deemed doubtful, while the other five were ruled probable.

(5/21/2014) The Raiders signed their seventh-round draft picks: cornerback T.J. Carrie, defensive end Shelby Harris and safety Jonathan Dowling, reports the Contra Costa Times. Oakland also signed undrafted free agent defensive tackle Denico Autry and waived defensive tackle David Carter.

Carrie finished his collegiate career with 165 tackles and nine interceptions over the course of four seasons.
