Nick Foles officially out, Bradley Fletcher questionable for Sunday

(12:05 pm ET) Eagles quarterback Nick Foles will miss the final game of the season with a collarbone injury. It will be Foles' eighth straight game out after suffering the injury Nov. 2 against the Texans. 

Cornerback Bradley Fletcher is also questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants witha a hip injury.

Jordan Matthews (knee), Beau Allen (shoulder), Brandon Bair (knee), Trent Cole (hand), Mychal Kendricks (ankle), Chris Maragos (Hamstring) and Casey Matthews (non-injury related) are all considered probable for the game.

The Eagles are 3-point underdogs against the Giants Sunday.

(10/8/2014) Eagles linebackers DeMeco Ryans and Mychal Kendricks did not practice on Wednesday, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Kendricks is nursing a calf injury that will likely keep him sidelined through the bye week. Ryans is still hopeful of playing Week 6 against the Giants.

"If there's one guy I wouldn't count out of anything, it would be DeMeco," head coach Chip Kelly said. "But we'll see how he progresses during the week."

(10/7/2014) Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans (groin) is more likely to play in Week 6 than position-mate Mychal Kendricks (calf), ESPN reports.

Kendricks prompted reports that he was practicing Tuesday after wearing his helmet to warmups, but he didn't participate much, if at all. "He didn't do anything," Ryans said. "He just wore his helmet today. That's a step forward. He got to warm up with the team today."

"I expect to [play Sunday]," Ryans said. "I'll see how I feel. [Skipping Tuesday was] just precautionary. I'll see how I progress throughout the week. From Sunday to today, I feel like I've made some strides. I'm feeling better. If it keeps going like it's going, by the end of the week I'm feeling good and hopefully I can go."

If neither linebacker can play Sunday, the team will be forced to go with Casey Matthews and Emmanuel Acho on most snaps.
