Only two injured on Sunday inactive list issued by Broncos

(10/12/2014) Featured back Montee Ball (groin) and linebacker Lerentee McCray (knee) are the lone injured players on the inactive report released Sunday by the Broncos for their game against the host Jets.

The healthy scratches are wide receiver Cody Latimer, defensive back Tony Carter, offensive linemen Ben Garland and Michael Schofield and defensive lineman Mitch Unrein.


Broncos list seven as probable Week 6

(10/10/2014) The Broncos have listed seven players as probable Week 6 against the Jets.

David Bruton, Andre Caldwell, Chris Harris, Lerentee McCray, Brandon McManus, Michael Schofield and Juwan Thompson should all be able to play Sunday. All seven were able to take part in full practice Friday.

(10/5/2014) The Broncos have made RB C.J. Anderson, S David Bruton, DE Ben Garland, LB Lerentee McCray, DT Mitch Unrein, WR Cody Latimer and OL Michael Schofield inactive Week 5 against the Cardinals. 

Both Bruton and McCray entered the day considered questionable. Bruton is dealing with an ankle injury. McCray has a knee issue.

Both David Bruton Jr. and Lerentee McCray have been listed as questionable. Quinton Carter, Virgil Green, Brandon McManus, Danny Trevathan and Louis Vasquez are all probable heading into the game.

(9/19/2014) Linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) is the lone questionable player on the Friday injury report released Friday by the Broncos for their Sunday game against Seattle.

Fellow linebacker Lerentee McCray (knee) is the lone Bronco ruled out. Listed as probable are cornerback Chris Harris (knee), kicker Brandon McManus (groin), linebacker Von Miller (groin) and guard Ben Garland (ankle).

(9/14/2014) Broncos linebacker Lerentee McCray is doubtful to return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs with a knee injury, USA Today Sports reports. McCray is a sub linebacker for the Broncos on the outside, so the team may have to lean more on starter Von Miller with the backup sidelined.

Broncos announce cuts to get down to final 53

(8/31/2013) Running back Lance Ball and offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who was attempting a comeback, where the two most notable cuts made by the Broncos on Saturday.

The offensive cuts were as follows: center C.J. Davis, running back Jeremiah Johnson, tight end Jake O'Connell, offensive lineman Philip Blake, tackle Paul Cornick, wide receiver Tavarres King, tackle Vinston Painter, wide receiver Gerell Robinson and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas.

Those on defense waived were end Jeremy Beal, tackle Romney Fuga, tackle Ben Garland, cornerback Aaron Hester, linebacker Damien Holmes, safety Ross Rasner and defensive end John Youboty.

The Broncos also placed linebackers Stewart Bradley and Lerentee McCray, as well as defensive end Quanterus Smith on IR. Star linebacker Von Miller is now on the Reserve/Suspended list.
