Bills unveil Week 14 inactives

(12/7/2014) The Bills designated the following players as inactive for the game at Denver: wideout Mike Williams (calf), tight end Chris Gragg (knee), defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring), fullback Frank Summers, offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio and linebacker Randell Johnson.

Sammy Watkins among notable probables for Bills in Week 14

(12/5/2014) Bills wide receivers Sammy Watkins (hip), Robert Woods (ankle) and Chris Hogan (hamstring) are among the notable probables leading up to Week 14 against the Broncos. Safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring) and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (hip) were also labeled as probable.

The team will be without the services of tight end Chris Gragg (knee), wide receiver Mike Williams (calf) and defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), as all three have been designated to out for Sunday.

(11/30/2014) A trio of injured Bills have received the thumbs-down for action Sunday against the visiting Browns. They are safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring), defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee) and tight end Chris Gragg (knee).

Fullback Frank Summers, linebacker Randell Johnson, offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio and wide receiver Mike Williams are all healthy scratches.

(11/28/2014) The Bills have put up the stop sign for defensive end Jarius Wynn (knee), tight end Chris Gragg (knee) and safety Bacarri Rambo (hamstring), all of whom have been ruled out for Sunday against Cleveland.

The only two other players on their Friday injury report are kicker Dan Carpenter (groin) and wideout Robert Woods (ankle), both of whom are probable.


Bills place Leodis McKelvin on IR, sign Bacarri Rambo

(11/17/2014) Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin's season has officially come to an end. The Bills announced Monday they placed McKelvin on the season-ending injured reserve list with a fractured ankle. McKelvin suffered the injury in the first half of Buffalo's 22-9 defeat to Miami in Week 11. He finishes the season with 48 total tackles.

In a corresponding move, the Bills have signed former Washington defensive back Bacarri Rambo to take McKelvin's place on the 53-man active roster.

(11:39 am ET) Washington has made FS Bacarri Rambo, LB Brandon Jenkins, CB Chase Minnifield, C J.D. Walton, OG Josh LeRibeus and QB Robert Griffin III inactive Week 16 against Cowboys.

Kirk Cousins will get the start for Washington. Rex Grossman will be the team's backup while Griffin misses another game.

(12/15/2013) In addition to quarterback Robert Griffin III, who has been shut down for the season to preserve his health, and tight end Jordan Reed, who is still dealing with a concussion, the Redskins' list of inactives for Week 15 at Atlanta includes defensive back Bacarri Rambo, defensive back Chase Minnifield, linebacker Brandon Jenkins, linebacker Darryl Tapp and offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus. All five are healthy scratches.

Baccari Rambo takes 'very difficult' demotion in stride

(9/25/2013) Redskins safety Bacarri Rambo said his demotion Week 3 vs. Detroit came as a surprise, but he understands the coaches' reasoning, according to The Washington Post. Rambo was relegated to special teams Sunday after starting the first two games at free safety.

"It was very difficult, but I just let the coaches coach and I’ll just go out there and do whatever it takes to help the team win," Rambo said. "If it’s for me to just play special teams, I’ll do it. Other than that, I’m just glad to be there and once I get my chance and my opportunity, I’m going to take advantage of it."
