(11/4/2014) The Ravens announced Tuesday they activated defensive tackle Terrence Cody (hip) from the PUP list. To clear a roster spot, tight end Phillip Supernaw was released.

The Ravens also released cornerback Chykie Brown and promoted cornerback Tramain Jacobs from the practice squad.

(10/13/2014) Ravens nose tackle Terrence Cody, who's coming back from offseason hip surgery, will return to practice this week, reports ESPN.com. The team has three weeks to decide whether to add Cody to the active roster or keep him on the PUP list.

Cody is in great shape and "chomping at the bit" to play, coach John Harbaugh told the website.

(7/18/2014) The Ravens placed defensive tackle Terrence Cody on the Physically Unable to Perform list to begin training camp. He's still recovering from offseason hip surgery, according to the official team website. He didn't participate in any of the spring workouts because of the injury. 

After playing 16 games in 2011, Cody has played in four games since.

The bad news is that starting guard Kelechi Osemele (back) will need back surgery and could be out for the year. Wide receiver Brandon Stokley (thigh) is questionable.

Probable for the game are nose tackle Terrence Cody (knee), offensive linemen Ryan Jensen (foot) and Michael Oher (ankle), linebacker Josh Bynes (finger/thigh) and running back Bernard Pierce (thigh).

(7/9/2013) Ravens nose guard Terrence Cody is still trying to come back from offseason hip surgery, reports the Baltimore Sun.

Cody will be examined again prior to the start of training camp in two weeks, but he doesn't expect to practice without restrictions at that time and is likely to be eased back into contact work.

"I don't know yet," Cody said. "We'll know once it gets closer to camp time, but I think I'm going to take my time, though."

When asked if he thought he would be ready for the start of the regular season, Cody replied: "Probably so."

Cody was sidelined for the Ravens' offseason practices after spending time on crutches and getting back to the point where he could walk without them.
