Redskins rule out DE Jason Hatcher, LB Gabe Miller for Week 16

(12/19/2014) The Redskins have ruled defensive end Jason Hatcher (knee) and linebacker Gabe Miller (ankle) were ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Eagles in Week 16. Linebacker Keenan Robinson (knee) was labeled as doubtful, while tackle Trent Williams (shoulder) was deemed as questionable.

Meanwhile, the following players were designated as probable: defensive lineman Chris Baker (chest, toe), defensive end Stephen Bowen (ankle), linebacker Will Compton (shoulder), running back Roy Helu Jr. (toe), offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger (knee), tight end Jordan Reed (not injury related) and safety Trenton Robinson (illness).


Redskins injury report littered with questionables

(12/12/2014) The Redskins enter Week 14 pretty banged up, with 10 players listed on its final injury report for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Linebacker Will Compton (shoulder) and defensive lineman Barry Cofield Jr. (illness) were the only two players on the report deemed probable. Defensive end Jason Hatcher (knee), defensive end Kedric Golston (back, foot), wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shin), quarterback Colt McCoy (neck) and defensive lineman Chris Baker (chest, toe) were all ruled as questionable.

Meanwhile, running back Roy Helu Jr. (toe), safety Brandon Meriweather (toe) and linebacker Keenan Robinson (knee) were all ruled out for the game.

The Redskins also listed the following players as probable: Ryan Clark, Will Compton, Ryan Kerrigan, Silas Redd and Tyler Polumbus.

(11/28/2014) The Redskins have listed nine players on its final injury report for Sunday's game against Indianapolis. Cornerback Bashaud Breeland (back) and defensive lineman Kedric Golston (back) were the only two deemed probable for Week 13.

The following seven players were designated as questionable: Defensive lineman Chris Baker (chest), cornerback E.J. Robert Griffin questionable on final Redskins Week 8 injury report

(10/25/2014) Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III (ankle) is listed as questionable on the team's final Week 8 injury report for Monday's matchup with the Cowboys.

Griffin hasn't played since Week 2 while recovering from a dislocated ankle, but he was able to get three limited practices under his belt this week. Even with the questionable tag, Colt McCoy is expected to start Monday night.

Cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) is also listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week. Safety Ryan Clark (ankle, shoulder) was limited in practice all week as well but is listed as probable. The team's other probables include running back Alfred Morris (ankle), defensive lineman Chris Baker (thigh), linebacker Perry Riley (knee) and offensive tackles Trent Williams (knee) and Tyler Polumbus (knee), all of whom practiced in full Saturday.

(10/4/2014) The Redskins have listed seven players as questionable for Monday's Week 5 matchup with the Seahawks, including tight ends Jordan Reed (hamstring) and Niles Paul (concussion), left tackle Trent Williams (knee), safety Trenton Robinson (ankle), defensive end Kedric Golston (groin), linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee) and guard Shawn Lauvao (knee).

Williams, Robinson and Goslton were all limited in practice Saturday, while Paul, Jordan and Lauvao practiced in full. Cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game.

Five players were listed as probable to play in Week 5, including wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder), linebacker Brian Orakpo (finger) and defensive linemen Jason Hatcher (hamstring), Chris Baker (shoulder) and Jarvis Jenkins (rib).


Many questionable players good to go for Washington

Chris Baker, Jason Hatcher, Frank Kearse, Kory Lichtensteiger, Tracy Porter and Trenton Robinson were all questionable entering the game, but are active. 

The team will also have kicker Kai Forbath, Tyler Polumbus and Keenan Robinson. All three players came into the game as probable.

Guard Shawn Lauvao (knee), defensive lineman Chris Baker (ankle/hip), defensive ends Jason Hatcher (hamstring), Frank Kearse (ankle) and Kedric Golston (groin), safety Trenton Robinson (abdomen), cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) and offensive lineman Kory Lichtensteiger (groin/rib/hip) all are questionable.

Linebackers Brian Orakpo (finger) and Keenan Robinson (shoulder), kicker Kai Forbath (groin) and offensive tackle Tyler Polumbus (knee) all are probable.


Chris Baker tossed following fight

(9/21/2014) Redskins defensive lineman Chris Baker was tossed out of Sunday's game against the Eagles in Week 3, for his part in a fourth-quarter brawl.

Baker was also hit with an unnecessary roughness penalty after hitting Eagles quarterback Nick Foles with a blind-side block following an interception return.

(2/27/2014) The Redskins re-signed defensive lineman Chris Baker to a three-year, $12 million contract, including $4 million guaranteed. He appeared in 15 games last season, starting three.

Baker, 26, was credited by coaches with 46 tackes, 26 solo, and his first career sack Week 7 against the Bears.

(10/21/2013) The Washington Redskins were all over Bears quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Josh McCown all afternoon during the Week 7 win at home against Chicago. In the end, however, the team registered only two sacks.

Nose tackles Chris Baker and Barry Cofield produced the sacks on the afternoon for Washington. It was Baker's sack that injured Cutler and caused him to leave the game.

The 29-year-old veteran Cofield now has three sacks on the season for Washington to go with 12 tackles. He's registered all three sacks in his last three games.

Baker, 26, picked up just his first sack of the year. In fact, it was the first quarterback take down of his career and it sent Cutler to the locker room. Baker has eight tackles on the year. Washington plays its next game at Denver Week 8.

Others who were waived are: wide receiver Alric Arnett, nose tackle Chris Baker, offensive lineman Paul Duncan, tight ends Nathan Overbay and Kory Sperry and linebacker Johnny Williams.
