Titans NT Sammie Lee Hill says he'll return in a week or two

(7/31/2015) Titans nose tackle Sammie Lee Hill said he isn't 100 percent sure, but he expects to return to the field in a week or two, reports The Tennessean.

"I'll give it a few weeks and then see what it feels like," Hill said. "I can't put a specific time on it, but probably about a week or two. I'll see what it feels like and see if I can get it mobile and moving the way I want to, and feel good about it."

Hill is on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list due to a knee sprain.

Hill has been a full-time starter since entering the league in 2009. He managed career-highs with 27 tackles and three sacks last season.

(12/26/2014) Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring) was the only player on Tennessee's final injury report listed as probable for Sunday's season finale against the Colts.

Defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill (foot), tackle Terren Jones (concussion) tackle Byron Stingily (ankle), linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring), tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle) and quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder) were labeled as questionable.

According to the Tennessean, Lewan and Mettenberger aren't expected to play. Coach Ken Whisenhunt did not rule out the possibility of dressing Mettenberger as an emergency option.


Police: Woman accused Titans DT Sammie Hill of sexual assault

(12/8/2014) Atlanta police said Monday they're investigating a sexual assault allegation against Titans defensive tackle Sammie Lee Hill, reports The Tennessean.

"The Atlanta Police Dept. has been contacted by a female who advised she was sexually assaulted by Sammie Hill, who is an NFL player," the department said in a release obtained by the paper. "We are working with the female to obtain information about this incident. At this time, the report is not available."

The Titans issued this statement: "We will let the police investigate the allegation and we will provide any assistance they need. We have discussed the matter with Sammie and we will continue to gather facts."

Hill has not played since Week 2. Greene has remained out since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on September 16. Neither has been officially ruled out for the game Sunday against visiting Kansas City.
