by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/8/2013) Rams rookie defensive back T.J. McDonald is recovering well from a fractured leg, and seems set to return to the field when he is first eligible to come off the injured reserve/designate for return list. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, McDonald could be back in the lineup prior to the team's Week 13 game against the 49ers, when he is first eligible.

"He's progressing nicely," coach Jeff Fisher said. "He's actually on land running right now (as opposed to pool work), so that's a huge step for him. We won't have any problems with the timing of that."

(4/26/2013) The Rams have selected Southern California safety T.J. McDonald in the third round of the NFL Draft.
