John Brown, John Carlson, Alex Okafor, Patrick Peterson, Frostee Rucker and Alameda Ta'amu are all active for the contest. Carlson, Rucker and Ta'amu all entered the game questionable.

(10/17/2014) The Cardinals have listed 12 players on their final injury report for Week 7 at Oakland. As expected, defensive end Calais Campbell (knee) and tight end Troy Niklas (ankle) were ruled out for Sunday.

Deemed questionable were tight end John Carlson (knee), inside linebacker Glenn Carson, defensive end Frostee Rucker (calf) and defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu (illness). Meanwhile, wide receiver John Brown (hamstring), Andre Ellington (foot), wide receiver Michael Floyd (groin), outside linebacker Alex Okafor (quad), quarterback Carson Palmer (shoulder) and Patrick Peterson (ankle) were all labeled as probable on the report.

Glenn Carson has already been ruled out of the contest. Guard Paul Fanaika is considered questionable. 

Five players have been deemed probable. Rob Housler, Alex Okafor, Patrick Peterson, Frostee Rucker and Dave Zastudil should all play.

Deemed questionable were tight end Rob Housler (hip), defensive tackle Frostee Rucker (calf) and quarterback Carson Palmer (shoulder).

(9/6/2014) Linebacker Alex Okafor has been ruled out by the Cardinals for their Monday night game against San Diego. He was a no-go in practice this week with a thigh injury.

Among those listed as questionable are running back Andre Ellington (foot), punter Dave Zastudil (groin) and safety Tyrann Mathieu (knee).

Arizona has guard Jonathan Cooper (toe), linebacker Kevin Minter (chest) and defensive end Frostee Rucker (back) listed as probable.


Expectations high for Alex Okafor

(7/7/2014) The Cardinals have high expectations for second-year linebacker Alex Okafor, whose rookie year ended in Week 3 with a torn biceps. Okafor is a dangerous pass rusher who had 12.5 sacks as a senior at Texas.

Cards coach Bruce Arians said Okafor stood out during offseason workouts. "He had an excellent offseason," Arians said. "He was the guy we drafted. (Now) I want to see him when the noise level turns up."


Alex Okafor to be full-go in four to six weeks

(2/5/2014) Cardinals linebacker Alex Okafor saw most of his rookie season wiped out with a torn biceps. The fourth-round pick told the team's website he's nearing the end of his rehab and will be "full-go" in four to six weeks.
