Cowboys to have most of their injured players Week 7

(10/19/2014) The Cowboys are expected to have most of their injured players Week 7 against the Giants. 

Cameron Lawrence, Rolando McClain, Jermey Parnell, Tyron Smith and Anthony Spencer are all active for the contest. All five players came into the game considered probable.

(10/17/2014) Cowboys offensive tackle Doug Free (foot) and linebacker Bruce Carter (thigh) were the only players to be ruled out for Sunday's clash at home against the Giants in Week 7, according to the team's official website.

The following players on the injury report have been ruled probable for the Cowboys on Sunday: Wide receiver Dez Bryant (shoulder), defensive end Jack Crawford (calf), outside linebacker Cameron Lawrence (thigh), middle linebacker Rolando McClain (groin, personal), running back DeMarco Murray (illness), offensive tackle Jermey Parnell (chest), quarterback Tony Romo (back, ankle), offensive tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) and defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee, foot).

(10/12/2014) Cowboys middle linebacker Rolando McClain, who was questionable with a groin injury, is active for the game at Seattle. He has 23 tackles and an interception in four games.

Other Cowboys cleared for the game include defensive tackle Henry Melton (calf), linebacker Cameron Lawrence (thigh), offensive tackle Jermey Parnell (chest), cornerback Tyler Patmon (illness) and defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee).

Top Cowboys on Friday injury report deemed probable

(10/10/2014) As expected, linebacker Bruce Carter has been ruled out by the Cowboys for their Week 6 battle at Seattle. He has been plagued by a thigh injury.

The Friday injury report indicates, however, that the team is otherwise fairly healthy. Listed as questionable are linebackers Cameron Lawrence (thigh) and Rolando McClain (groin), tackle Jermey Parnell (chest) and defensive end Jack Crawford (calf).

The probables are headlined by quarterback Tony Romo (back), defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee) and wideout Dez Bryant (shoulder). Also receiving that designation are defensive tackle Henry Melton (calf) and defensive back Tyler Patmon (illness).


Sterling Moore among Cowboys cut

(8/31/2013) Cornerback Sterling Moore, who has earned some playing time with New England and Dallas, has been cut by the Cowboys. Moore played in five games in both 2011 and 2012. Another significant cut by the team is wide receiver Anthony Armstrong, who has 54 career catches.

Others waived by Dallas are the following: quarterback Alex Tanney, tackles Demetress Bell and Edawn Coughman, defensive backs Micah Pellerin, Xavier Brewer and Jakar Hamilton, linebackers Brandon McGee, Cameron Lawrence, Caleb McSurdy and Taylor Reed, running back Kendial Lawrence, defensive tackle Jerome Long, defensive ends Thaddeus Gibson and Jabari Fletcher, guard Ray Dominguez, wide receivers Tim Benford and Danny Coale, defensive lineman Jason Vega and center Kevin Kowalski
