News: Green Bay linebacker Desmond Bishop (hamstring) was among five players placed on injured reserve Monday and will miss the entire upcoming season. Bishop, who suffered a hamstring injury during the first quarter of the team's preseason opener, joins running back Duane Bennett; tight end DeMarco Cosby; defensive lineman Johnny Jones; and wide receiver Shaky Smithson on injured reserve.
Analysis: Aside from Bishop, neither of these players were expected to make a Fantasy impact this season and should be left off all rosters at this point. But the loss of Bishop is devastating for the Packers' already suspect defense as he racked up a career-high 115 tackles last season. But with his season already over, Fantasy owners should bypass him in all IDP formats for the 2012 campaign.
News: Packers DE Lawrence Guy and WR Shaky Smithson were placed on injured reserve on Saturday.
Analysis: Neither of these players were or are expected to be productive for Fantasy purposes. Keep them off of Fantasy rosters.
