(3/27/2014) The Redskins re-signed cornerback E.J. Biggers, reports Pro Football Talk. He played in every game last season, recording 35 tackles, two passes defended and an interception.

Three players cleared for Washington

(12/22/2013) The three players listed on Washington 's injury report have been cleared Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Cornerback E.J. Biggers, OL Trent Williams and RB Darrel Young are all active Week 16. Both Biggers and Williams were listed as probable. Young was questionable with a hamstring injury.

Both players are dealing with knee injury. Biggers has been able to get through full practice all week. Williams did not practice Wednesday, but returned to full practice Thursday.

(11/23/2013) The Redskins defense has four players on the injury list for Week 12 against the 49ers, and they could be missing two of them for Monday's game. Defensive lineman Stephen Bowen (knee) and defense back Jose Gumbs (ankle) are both questionable after Saturday's practice.

Two other players, defensive backs Josh Wilson (toe) and  E.J. Biggers (knee) are considered probable for the game.

(11/17/2013) Redskins defensive back E.J. Biggers, who left early Week 11 at Philadelphia with a knee injury, may have suffered meniscus damage, coach Mike Shanahan told The Washington Post after the game.

Biggers will have an MRI Monday. He had one solo tackle before leaving.


E.J. Biggers, David Amerson get INTs for Redskins

(11/4/2013) The Washington Redskins earned an overtime victory over San Diego on Sunday of Week 9 and got two big interceptions from the defense. Cornerbacks E.J. Biggers and David Amerson each intercepted a Philip Rivers pass during the game.

Biggers returned his pick 15 yards for Washington and Amerson didn't have any return yards, but came up with a highly impressive takeaway. Biggers had three tackles in the game and Amerson six. Five were solo stops.

The 21-year-old rookie Amerson, who went to North Carolina State, has two interceptions for the season, one returned for a touchdown. He also has 30 tackles this season. Biggers, a veteran, has 18 tackles and recorded his first INT of the year.
