Eason, who turns 30 next month, has served as a backup the past three seasons. With veteran Travis Kirschke expected to retire, Eason's role could expand, along with Ziggy Hood, last year's first-round draft pick, and second-year-player Sunny Harris. Eason totaled 16 tackles in eight games last season.
Analysis: Eason has minimal Fantasy value, but he could see a boost, along with Hood and Harris, if Kirschke retires as expected. Still, none of these players are worth drafting in the majority of leagues. Ignore them all in IDP formats on Draft Day.

He provides another option for winless Carolina, which has been unable to effectively replace Maake Kemoeatu, who was lost for the season in training camp with a torn Achilles' tendon. The Panthers also lost backup Louis Leonard to a season-ending broken ankle in Week 2. Second-year pro Nick Hayden started in Monday's loss to Dallas. Harris was claimed off waivers last month after being cut by Pittsburgh.
