Seahawks list inactives for Week 10

(11/9/2014) The Seahawks have listed Steven Terrell, Kam Chancellor, Malcolm Smith, Bobby Wagner, James Carpenter, Zach Miller and Tony Moeaki as inactive for Week 10 against the Giants. 

Both Miller and Wagner had been ruled out prior to the contest. Chancellor, Smith and Carpenter were all listed as doubtful coming into the game. Both Terrell and Moeaki are healthy scratches. 


Seahawks unveil lengthy injury list for Week 10

(11/7/2014) The Seahawks have ruled out Zach Miller (ankle) and Bobby Wagner (toe) for Week 10 against the Giants. James Carpenter (ankle), Stephen Schilling (knee), Kam Chancellor (groin) and Malcolm Smith (groin) all missed practice Friday and were deemed doubtful for Sunday.

Marcus Burley (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice, while Byron Maxwell (calf) was a full participant Friday. Both were deemed questionable.

The following players were labeled probable: Russell Okung (calf), Doug Baldwin (groin), Max Unger (rest), O'Brien Schofield (head), Michael Bennett (toe), Marshawn Lynch (calf) and Jordan Hill (ankle).


Seahawks issue inactives for Week 9

(11/2/2014) The Seahawks have listed S Jeron Johnson, CB Byron Maxwell, LB Malcolm Smith, LB Bobby Wagner, LT Russell Okung, TE Zach Miller and DT Jordan Hill as inactive Week 9 against the Raiders. 

Okung came into the game questionable due to a calf injury. He will not play. The other six players listed were ruled out prior to Sunday. 


Seahawks injury report for Sunday designates seven as out

(10/24/2014) The lengthy injury report released by the Seahawks on Friday for the Sunday game at Carolina has only ruled-out players and probables.

There are no surprises in either designation. All those who are out did not practice this week. That group consists of fullback Derrick Coleman (foot), defensive tackle Jordan Hill (ankle), cornerback Byron Maxwell (calf), tight end Zach Miller (ankle), center Max Unger (foot), linebacker Bobby Wagner (toe) and wideout Bryan Walters (concussion).

The probables are defensive end Michael Bennett (toe), strong safety Kam Chancellor (ankle), cornerback Tharold Simon (ankle), running back Robert Turbin (shoulder) and tight end Luke Willson (groin).


Seahawks get contributions from several role players Week 3

(9/21/2014) The Seahawks received contributions from several role players in a Week 3 overtime win over the Broncos.

Robert Turbin was limited to only two carries for one yard. He caught his only target for a 4-yard gain. Bryan Walters had two catches for 22 yards, while Zach Miller caught two passes for 12 yards. Derrick Coleman and Paul Richardson were each limited to one grab. Coleman had 12 receiving yards, while Richardson finished with seven.

(9/19/2014) The Seahawks have listed nine players on the final injury report heading into Week 3.

Only Tharold Simon has been ruled out for the game. Bruce Irvin didn't practice throughout the week, but is questionable for the game. 

Kam Chancellor, Cooper Helfet, Marshawn Lynch, Christine Michael, Zach Miller, Mike Morgan and Kevin Pierre-Louis are all probable.

(8/15/2014) The Bears have waived/injured tight end Zach Miller, a league source has told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Miller had been evaluated by medical personnel Friday after injuring his foot in the Thursday preseason game. The designation indicates that the injury is serious enough to knock him out for the season.

Marc Trestman spoke glowingly Friday about the performance of Miller in training camp. He has caught only four passes in the NFL since two seasons as a minor contributor for Jacksonville.

(8/15/2014) Marc Trestman said Friday that the foot injury sustained Thursday night by Bears tight end Zach Miller was been evaluated by medical personnel. The outcome of the diagnosis will be revealed in the next day or two.

Miller was in a walking boot after the game against Jacksonville.

(8/15/2014) Bears tight end Zach Miller underwent X-rays on his injured foot, per ESPN.

Miller suffered the injury early in Thursday’s preseason game against the Jaguars and was seen after the game in a walking boot, NBC Chicago reports. The team has not revealed the extent of the injury, although reserve quarterback Jordan Palmer called the injury, "devastating," according to ESPN.

Miller was immediately ruled out by the club after he was carted off the field. The severity of the injury is unknown at this time. Miller has strugged with major injuries throughout his career.

(8/9/2014) Bears tight end Zach Miller made the best out of a difficult situation for his team, scoring twice in place of suspended Martellus Bennett during Friday's preseason opener against the Eagles.

Miller got the start and caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler in the second drive of the game in the first quarter. In the second quarter, he hauled in a 14-yard pass in the end zone from backup Jordan Palmer. He caught all six of his targeted passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.3 yards per grab.
