News: The Chiefs added three players Monday: defensive end Marcus Dixon, tight end Kevin Brock and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard.
Analysis: Gilyard worked with coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia as recently as last season. Dixon and Brock never played in Philly but have previous stops on their NFL resumes. We'll see if any of them make the Chiefs' final roster.
News: Bills TE Kevin Brock had one catch for 21 yards Saturday against Denver in Week 16. He had one target in the game.
Analysis: Brock has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues. Ignore him in all formats in Week 17 at New England.
News: Buffalo moved TE Lee Smith to injured reserve on Tuesday after the undrafted rookie free agent suffered an ankle injury in Week 15. The Bills promoted TE Kevin Brock from their practice squad to replace Smith on the active roster.
Analysis: Brock landed on Buffalo's practice squad after being released by Oakland before the start of the season. He will likely be utilized in the same fashion as Smith before his injury -- a blocker. Fantasy owners should ignore him in all formats for the rest of the season.
News: The Raiders signed TE Kevin Brock to the practice squad on Monday.
Analysis: Brock is not going to see much of the field for the Raiders. He can be ignored in all Fantasy leagues.
News: The Cowboys placed TE Kevin Brock on the waived/injured list. Brock suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's preseason game against the Bengals.
Analysis: We doubt Brock gets claimed by another team, so his season is over.
News: The Dallas Cowboys signed tight end Kevin Brock a day after he was released by the Bears.
Analysis: Brock will provide depth during training camp but is a longshot to make the final roster. Keep him off of Fantasy squads.
News: The Bears released TE Kevin Brock, who spent the last six weeks of 2009 on their practice squad. They signed LB Brian Iwuh, a former key special teams player for Jacksonville.
Analysis: Neither of these players were or are expected to produce many stats in the first place. Keep them off of Fantasy rosters.
News: The Bears signed the following players to Reserve/Futures contracts: TE Kevin Brock, LB Kevin Malast and FB Will Ta'ufo'ou.
Analysis: None of these players are expected to produce enough stats to warrant Fantasy use. Keep them off of rosters for now.
News: The Steelers signed TE Kevin Brock to their practice squad and released TE Dezmond Sherrod on Friday.
Analysis: As practice squad players, neither of these guys has any Fantasy value at this time.
News: The New York Jets have waived tight end Richard Owens and claimed tight end Kevin Brock off waivers from the Carolina Panthers. Owens missed several training camp practices with a leg injury, spending the last few days riding the stationary bike. Signed last month, Owens has 17 career catches for 141 yards and a touchdown in four NFL seasons with Minnesota and St. Louis. Brock, an undrafted rookie from Rutgers, spent four years as a walk-on with the Scarlet Knights before being awarded a scholarship in his redshirt senior season. He had 49 catches for 541 yards and four touchdowns for Rutgers.
Analysis: Neither tight end is expected to produce copious amounts of statistics. Keep them off of Fantasy rosters for now.
News: The Jets signed tight end Kevin Brock off waivers from Carolina.
Analysis: Brock, a rookie out of Rutgers, was waived by Carolina. It doesn't seem as he'll be much more than a practice player with the Jets and does not need to be owned in Fantasy.
