Colts cuts knock down roster to required 53

(8/30/2014) The Colts have pared down their roster to 53 on Saturday by cutting 17 players and making other moves.

The offensive players on the list are running back David Fluellen, quarterback Chandler Harnish, wide receivers Ryan Lankford and Josh Lenz, center FN Lutz, tight ends Weslye Saunders and Erik Swoope and guard Josh Walker.

The defensive players let go by Indianapolis are ends Gannon Conway and Tyler Hoover, linebackers Rob Ruggiero, Kelvin Sheppard, Phillip Hunt and Andrew Jackson, safety Dewey McDonald, tackles Brandon McKinney and Nnamdi Obukwelu and cornerback Sheldon Price.

The Colts waived/injured tackle Matt Hall and safety Delano Howell and placed linebacker Robert Mathis on the reserve/suspended list.

(8/24/2013) The Eagles have listed their injuries for Saturday's preseason game against the Jaguars, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The players who are not expected to play include: defensive back Curtis Marsh (hand), offensive tackle Dennis Kelly (back) and linebacker Phillip Hunt (knee). Safety Kenny Phillips, who is fighting for a roster spot, will try to play through a quad injury.

(8/15/2013) Eagles linebacker Phillip Hunt became the fourth player on the team to suffer a serious knee injury, as he underwent surgery to repair his left ACL, the team announced Thursday. Hunt injured the knee in the preseason opener against the Patriots, and was not expected to play a big role this season.
