Buccaneers' Lavonte David among questionables for Bucs Sunday

(12/5/2014) The Buccaneers released their final Week 14 injury report and the following players are listed as questionable: Anthony Collins, Clinton McDonald, Brandon Myers, Bobby Rainey, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Lavonte David and Mason Foster.

Major Wright, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Luke Stocker and Crezdon Butler are listed as probable. The Bucaneers take on the Lions Week 14.


Bucs happy to get C Evan Dietrich-Smith back

(12/3/2014) Buccaneers center Evan Dietrich-Smith, who missed the Week 13 loss to the Bengals with flu-like symptoms, is healthy again after being sick for a full week, reports ESPN.com. His replacement, Garrett Gilkey, was called for four penalties and made two bad shotgun snaps against Cincy.

Dietrich-Smith will start Sunday at Detroit.

(11/30/2014) Six of the seven Buccaneers designated as questionable for he Sunday game against the Bengals have been ruled out. They are linebacker Lavonte David (hamstring), center Evan Dietrich-Smith (illness), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring) and tight ends Brandon Myers (calf), Luke Stocker (concussion) and Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back).

The lone exception is safety Major Wright (shoulder), who has been given the green light.


Sims, Bowers, Goldson among Buccaneers probables for Week 13

(11/28/2014) The Buccaneers listed 10 players on its final injury report for Sunday's contest against Cincinnati. Defensive end Da'Quan Bowers (knee), safety Dashon Goldson (illness) and running back Charles Sims (ankle) were the only three players deemed probable.

Meanwhile, the following seven players were labeled as questionable for Week 13: Linebacker Lavonte David (hamstring), center Evan Dietrich-Smith (illness), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (hamstring), tight end Brandon Myers (calf), tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (back), tight end Luke Stocker (concussion) and safety Major Wright (shoulder).


Buccaneers OL gets good and bad news for Sunday

(11/2/2014) One ailing Buccaneers offensive lineman got a thumbs-up while the other received a thumbs-down for the Sunday game in Cleveland. Tackle Anthony Collins, who had been doubtful, is indeed out with a foot injury. Center Evan Dietrich-Smith, who had been deemed probable with a knee issue, is set to play.

(10/31/2014) Linebacker Brandon Magee (knee) and kick returner Trindon Holliday (hamstring) have been ruled out by the Buccaneers for their Sunday game in Cleveland.

Those listed as doubtful are tackle Anthony Collins (foot) and featured back Doug Martin (ankle). Defensive end Michael Johnson (hand) is questionable while center Evan Dietrich-Smith (knee) and wideout Vincent Jackson (rib) are probable.

That quintet is cornerback Johnthan Banks (neck), center Evan Dietrich-Smith (illness), defensive end Larry English (hamstring) and wideouts Vincent Jackson (rib) and Mike Evans (groin). The latter two are expected to play, however.

Da'Quan Bowers, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Demar Dotson, William Gholston, Logan Mankins and Bradley McDougald were all active for Thursday's game. All six players were probable coming into the game.

Michael Johnson was listed as questionable, but should also be able to play.

(11/28/2013) Packers starting center Evan Dietrich-Smith left the team's Thanksgiving Day game with a right knee injury, the team announced. Dietrich-Smith was hurt late in the first half when he stepped on a teammate's heel and fell to the ground. The injury was initially believed to be an ankle.

The Packers shifted guard T.J. Lang to center and put Marshall Newhouse at right guard.

Matthews and Mulumba were able to practice in full Thursday. Neal and Smith were limited in practice Thursday. Hyde was unable to practice Thursday and Friday due to a groin injury.


Five Packers expected to play Week 11

(11/15/2013) Packers OL Evan Dietrich-Smith, DT Johnny Jolly, DE Mike Neal, DT Ryan Pickett and CB Sam Shields are probable Week 11 against the Giants. 

Shields didn't appear on the injury report until Friday, but should be good to go. Both Dietrich-Smith and Pickett have been dealing with knee injuries.
