News: The Saints went after a need by taking ex-LSU defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (6-foot-5, 318 pounds) with their first pick of 2012 draft in the third round (No. 89 overall). Hicks went to Regina to play football after leaving LSU. He's expected to provide depth at defensive tackle.
Analysis: Hicks might be a ways from helping the Saints out but he's unlikely to ever be productive enough to help Fantasy owners. Leave him off rosters.
