Vikings healthy as they await battle against Redskins

(10/31/2014) Aside from ruled-out tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen/groin), the Vikings are in fine shape as they await their Sunday game against Washington.

Listed as questionable is cornerback Jabari Price (hamstring). The probables are defensive end Brian Robison (glute), cornerback Josh Robinson (ankle), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (ankle/knee), linebacker Gerald Hodges (hamstring), safety Antone Exum (ankle/shoulder) and tight end Chase Ford (foot).


Probables dominate Vikings injury report issued Friday

(10/24/2014) The Vikings have placed 11 players on their Friday injury report, but only two have been deemed worse than questionable. They are ruled-out tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen/groin) and doubtful linebacker Gerald Hodges (hamstring).

Guard Vladimir Ducasse (knee), safety Antone Exum (ankle) and cornerback Josh Robinson (ankle) are questionable. The probables are tight end Chase Ford (foot), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (ankle), cornerback Jabari Price (hamstring), safety Harrison Smith (ankle), center John Sullivan (concussion) and defensive end Corey Wootton (back).

(10/2/2014) The Vikings will have all but one player listed as probable Week 5 against the Packers.

Jerome Felton, Michael Mauti, Jerick McKinnon, Captain Munnerlyn, Josh Robinson and Rodney Smith will all give it a go Thursday.

McKinnon is expected to see time at running back behind Matt Asiata. He entered the week with an ankle injury, but will play through it.

Sharrif Floyd, Linval Joseph, Michael Mauti, Harrison Smith and Rodney Smith are all active for the game. Josh Robinson, who entered as questionable, will give it a go as well.

(9/26/2014) The Vikings have listed nine players on their final injury report leading up to a Week 4 home clash against the Falcons. Tight end Kyle Rudolph (abdomen, groin) and linebacker Chad Greenway were the only players not to participate in practice Friday. As expected, both were ruled out for Sunday.

The only player deemed questionable was cornerback Josh Robinson (hamstring), who was a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday leading up to the game. The following players were ruled probable: Defensive tackle Linval Joseph (shoulder), safety Harrison Smith (knee), linebacker Brandon Watts (knee), defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (shoulder), linebacker Michael Mauti (foot) and wide receiver Rodney Smith (hamstring).


Josh Robinson hurts hamstring again

(9/21/2014) Vikings defensive back Josh Robinson suffered another hamstring injury Week 3 at New Orleans. Robinson was also dealing with a hamstring injury in the preseason.

Robinson had six tackles, including five solo, before leaving.


Captain Munnerlyn expected to open season as starter

(8/18/2014) Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Monday that cornerback Captain Munnerlyn is expected to be the starter at left cornerback for the regular season opener, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Munnerlyn has been listed as a co-starter on the depth chart with Josh Robinson, but Robinson has been unable to get past a hamstring strain.

Carlson is dealing with a concussion, and has not practiced all week. Rhodes has an ankle injury, and was also held out of practice. Robinson is dealing with a chest issue.

Rudolph is still dealing with a foot injury and hasn't practiced. He's missed four games due to the injury. Robinson is dealing with a chest issue, and hasn't practiced this week.

Frazier said he received a positive report on Robinson, who missed his first game Week 12, and expects him to return in a few weeks, according to the Star Tribune.

All three players were unable to practice all week. Henderson's absence is not injury related. Robinson is dealing with a chest injury. Rudolph has been sidelined by a foot issue.

Robinson had one tackle for a loss on the contest. The 22-year-old cornerback out of the University of Central Florida now has 29 tackles on the season over four games.

His help will be needed against a Bears team that features premier wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
