Facing a backup quarterback and a team that had just been blown out, the Steelers DST unit had high hopes for Week 4 against the Buccaneers. So, a 27-24 loss wasn't exactly what they had in mind.
The Steelers held the Buccaneers to just 10 first-half points, including a touchdown just two minutes in off a turnover. Unfortunately, the defense came apart in the second half, as they ultimately allowed 350 yards and three offensive touchdowns.
The Steelers forced just one turnover, and interception, and sacked quarterback Mike Glennon just once as well. In spite of Sunday's disappointment, the Steelers are back in action in Week 5 against the hapless Jaguars and could be worth using then.
