Jets feature only one injured on Sunday inactive list

(11/9/2014) Expected scratch Darrin Walls is the lone injured player on the inactive list submitted by the Jets for their Sunday game against the Steelers. The cornerback is dealing with a calf injury that prevented him from practicing all week.

The healthy scratches are defensive linemen Ikemefuna Enemkpali and T.J. Barnes, offensive linemen Wesley Johnson and Dakota Dozier, wideout Walt Powell and quarterback Matt Simms .


Geno Smith among Jets players inactive Week 9

(11/2/2014) Jets quarterback Geno Smith was listed as inactive Sunday against the Chiefs due to a shoulder injury. Smith was going to be the backup quarterback to Michael Vick, if he was active.

The other Jets inactives for Week 9 were Walt Powell, Darrin Walls, IK Enemkpali, Dakota Dozier, Wesley Johnson and T.J. Barnes.


Jets announce Week 8 inactives vs. Bills

(10/26/2014) The Jets have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Bills: linebacker Trevor Reilly (knee), wide receivers Greg Salas (wrist, ankle) and Walt Powell, linebacker IK Enemkpali, guards Dakota Dozier and Wesley Johnson and nose tackle T.J. Barnes.

Reilly and Salas were both questionable going into the game but are unable to suit up. With two receivers inactive, Percy Harvin could be in for a role in both the return game and on offense. The team had ten players listed as probable on the final injury report and all are active for the game.

The healthy scratches are defensive lineman T.J. Barnes, guard Dakota Dozier, linebacker Ikemefuna Enemkpali, tackle Ben Ijalana and wideout Chris Owusu.

Decker was the big question mark. He entered the game considered questionable due to a hamstring injury. After a pre-game workout, it was determined he would not go.

Jets announce Week 2 inactives vs. Packers

(9/14/2014) The Jets have announced that the following players are inactive for Week 2's matchup with the Packers: defensive tackle T.J. Barnes, defensive back Josh Bush, linebackers A.J. Edds and IK Enemkpali, offensive tackle Ben Ijalana, guard Dakota Dozier and wide receiver Walt Powell.

Bush was questionable to play with a quad injury, while Edds had already been ruled out with a hamstring issue. Enemkpali was probable in the injury report with a foot injury but will not play.

Jaguars trim down roster

(8/30/2013) The Jaguars have trimmed its roster down to 54 players after parting ways with backup quarterbacks Mike Kafka and Matt Scott on Friday, the team announced.

Players also released were wide receiver Jeremy Ebert, defensive end Pannel Egboh, running back Jonathan Grimes, linebacker Brandon Marshall, wide receiver Charly Martin, offensive tackle Pat McQuistan, guard Drew Nowak, cornerback Kevin Rutland, defensive tackle D'Anthony Smith, linebacker Julian Stanford and cornerback Marcus Trufant.

Wide receiver Toney Clemons and defensive end Ryan Davis were among the first-year players released. Defensive tackle T.J. Barnes, offensive tackle R.J. Dill, tight end Ryan Otten, wide receiver Tobais Palmer, safety Steven Terrell and linebacker Mike Zimmer were among the rookies released.
