Keenan Allen and Antonio Gates are active. They were both probable coming into the game. D.J. Fluker, Melvin Ingram, Sean Lissemore and Corey Liuget are also active for the contest.


Chargers list six from defense on injury report

(9/12/2014) The Chargers have six players from the defensive side of the ball on the injury report for Week 2 against the Seahawks, with two players already ruled out.

Defensive backs Chris Davis (ankle) and Jahleel Addae (hamstring) will both miss Sunday's game, after being forced to miss the entire week in practice.

Additionally, defensive back Brandon Flowers (groin) and linebacker Melvin Ingram (hamstring) are both questionable for the game, as they were both limited in practice. Defensive linemen Corey Liuget and Sean Lissemore are both probable with ankle injuries.

Listed as questionable are safety Jahleel Addae (hamstring), tight end Antonio Gates (hamstring), defensive end Lawrence Guy (shoulder), defensive tackle Sean Lissemore (ankle) and linebacker Manti Te'o (foot).

Te'o is dealing with a sprained foot. Both Lissemore and Addae are batting through ankle injuries.

(12/11/2013) The Chargers are in excellent shape heading into their Thursday night clash against Denver. Only wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) and cornerback Johnny Patrick (ankle) are listed as questionable, though both are expected to play. The rest on their injury report are probable.

The defensive players on that list are ends Corey Liuget (knee) and Lawrence Guy (toe), linebacker Jarret Johnson (hand), lineman Sean Lissemore (toe) and cornerback Shareece Wright (foot).

The offensive probables are wide receiver Keenan Allen (shoulder), center Nick Hardwick (neck) and tackle D.J. Fluker (ankle). 


Cam Thomas loses starting slot to Sean Lissemore

(12/11/2013) Chargers defensive tackle Cam Thomas has been benched in favor of Sean Lissemore. Lissemore, who arrived in September via a trade with the Cowboys, started Sunday against the Giants.

Thomas told the San Diego Union-Tribune that he plans to take the demotion "like a man."

(11/3/2013) Chargers defensive end Sean Lissemore found a present fall into his hands during the Week 9 overtime loss at Washington on Sunday. Lissemore caught a tipped Robert Griffin III pass in the end zone in the first quarter for a defensive touchdown.

Lissemore, who had one tackle in the game, recorded his first NFL defensive touchdown. It was also his first career interception for the Chargers. Lissemore has 11 tackles this season and one sack. San Diego hosts Denver Week 10.
