News: The 49ers spent three third-day draft picks on their defense, adding Notre Dame linebacker Darius Fleming, Michigan State safety Trenton Robinson and Virginia defensive end Cam Johnson. They are the only additions to the Niners' defense this offseason.
Analysis: Of these three, Robinson is the one worth paying attention to. Fleming has pass-rush potential but probably won't be an every-down linebacker anytime soon, and Johnson will battle for playing time on the D-line. Robinson could land playing time in a year or two and could put up some decent stats for Fantasy owners. He's worth a late pick in dynasty/keeper leagues and rookie-only drafts. The others shouldn't be drafted for now.
