Titans add Jamon Meredith; Place Blidi Wreh-Wilson on IR

(12/9/2014) The Titans signed offensive lineman Jamon Meredith to its active roster Tuesday, reports the Tennessean.

To make room for Meredith, the Titans placed Blidi Wreh-Wilson on injured reserve. Wreh-Wilson dislocated his shoulder Sunday against the Giants. 

The Titans play the Jets Sunday.


Kendall Wright, four Titans players ruled questionable for Week 14

(12/5/2014) The Titans have ruled out outside linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring) for Sunday's contest against the Giants. Wimbley was the only players ruled out for the game, while defensive back Marqueston Huff (hamstring) and guard Chance Warmack (ankle) were the only players designated as probable.

Meanwhile, offensive tackle Taylor Lewan (ankle), quarterback Zach Mettenberger (shoulder), tackle Michael Oher (toe), cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (back) and wide receiver Kendall Wright (hand) were all deemed as questionable.

(11/28/2014) Eight Titans have landed on their injury report for the Sunday game in Houston, but only linebacker Kamerion Wimbley (hamstring) has been ruled out. The others are at least questionable.

Placed in that category are safety Michael Griffin (shoulder), defensive back Marqueston Huff (hamstring) and tackles Taylor Lewan (ankle) and Michael Oher (toe). Neither tackle has practiced this week.

The probables are running backs Dexter McCluster (concussion) and Leon Washington (hamstring), as well as cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (back).

Walker is working his way back from a concussion he suffered Week 10 against the Ravens. He was medically cleared by an independent neurologist this week.

Meanwhile, Marqueston Huff (hamstring) was ruled as doubtful after missing practice all week. Justin Hunter (knee), Derrick Morgan (knee), Daimion Stafford (shoulder) and Blidi Wreh-Wilson were all deemed questionable.

(10/10/2014) The Titans listed nine players on the final injury report leading up to Week 6 against Jacksonville. offensive tackle Michael Roos (knee) and tight end Craig Stevens (quad) were officially ruled out, while running back Shonn Greene (hamstring) has been ruled doubtful for Sunday.

Deemed questionable were cornerback Coty Sensabaugh (knee), tight end Taylor Thompson (knee), cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (concussion) and quarterback Jake Locker (right thumb).

Tight end Delanie Walker (shoulder) and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (foot) were the only players listed probable against the Jaguars.


Titans CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson seeking to improve play

(10/10/2014) Titans cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson hopes he can turn a negative into a positive. He believes a concussion that prevented him from playing Sunday against Cleveland allowed him to gain a perspective on his struggles and potentially improve his play going forward.

"You learn from mistakes," he told The Tennessean. "There were things in the first few games of the season that I didn't do well, and things I need to clean up. I want to help the team however I can."

Wreh-Wilson is set to returrn in Week 6 against Jacksonville. He needs to be in top form, especially considering that fellow corner Coty Sensabaugh might be out with a knee injury. Wreh-Wilson has been penalized six times in the first four games of the season. He also allowed plenty of catches.

"We have to pick up the level of play," he added. "For me, I want to make sure I clean up the penalites. For myself, the attention to detail is that I need to focus on. I put myself in some bad situations."

(9/29/2014) Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt told reporters Monday that cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson has been diagnosed with a concussion, via the team's official website.

Wreh-Wilson left Week 4 against Tennessee with the ailment. He will now go through the league's concussion protocol and will need to be medically cleared before he can return to action. He has totaled 16 tackles (four solo) on the year.
