Titans list nine players on final injury report

(10/10/2014) The Titans listed nine players on the final injury report leading up to Week 6 against Jacksonville. offensive tackle Michael Roos (knee) and tight end Craig Stevens (quad) were officially ruled out, while running back Shonn Greene (hamstring) has been ruled doubtful for Sunday.

Deemed questionable were cornerback Coty Sensabaugh (knee), tight end Taylor Thompson (knee), cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (concussion) and quarterback Jake Locker (right thumb).

Tight end Delanie Walker (shoulder) and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (foot) were the only players listed probable against the Jaguars.


Titans CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson seeking to improve play

(10/10/2014) Titans cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson hopes he can turn a negative into a positive. He believes a concussion that prevented him from playing Sunday against Cleveland allowed him to gain a perspective on his struggles and potentially improve his play going forward.

"You learn from mistakes," he told The Tennessean. "There were things in the first few games of the season that I didn't do well, and things I need to clean up. I want to help the team however I can."

Wreh-Wilson is set to returrn in Week 6 against Jacksonville. He needs to be in top form, especially considering that fellow corner Coty Sensabaugh might be out with a knee injury. Wreh-Wilson has been penalized six times in the first four games of the season. He also allowed plenty of catches.

"We have to pick up the level of play," he added. "For me, I want to make sure I clean up the penalites. For myself, the attention to detail is that I need to focus on. I put myself in some bad situations."

(10/7/2014) Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson, who missed Sunday's loss to the Browns with a concussion, could be cleared from the league's concussion protocol as early as Tuesday, reports TitansOnline.com. That would put him on track to play Week 6 against the Jaguars.

(10/3/2014) The Titans are in good health with their Week 5 game against Cleveland on the horizon. Most of the players on their Friday injury report have been deemed probable, including quarterback Jake Locker (wrist) and tight end Delanie Walker (shoulder).

Also probable are defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (foot) and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (knee). Tight end Taylor Thompson (knee) is doubtful while cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (concussion) is questionable.

(9/29/2014) Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt told reporters Monday that cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson has been diagnosed with a concussion, via the team's official website.

Wreh-Wilson left Week 4 against Tennessee with the ailment. He will now go through the league's concussion protocol and will need to be medically cleared before he can return to action. He has totaled 16 tackles (four solo) on the year.

(6/19/2013) The Titans agreed to terms with rookie cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson on Wednesday. 

The Tennessean reports that Wreh-Wilson, a third-round pick, reached a four-year deal with salaries of $405,000 in 2013, $495,000 in 2014, $585,000 in 2015 and $675,000 in 2016.

Only first-round pick Chance Warmack has yet to agree to terms.

(4/26/2013) The Tennessee Titans continued to retool their secondary by drafting Connecticut cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson in the third round. Wreh-Wilson, a former basketball and soccer player, didn't take up football until his senior year in high school. He went on to become a team captain and all-Big East performer at Connecticut. In four years with the Huskies he finished with 180 total tackles, eight interceptions and 35 passes defensed.
