Cowboys make final cuts
(9/3/2011) The Cowboys made their final cuts on Saturday in order to get down to the league-mandated 53 players, and there were some notable subtractions. Among the players released were FBs Chris Gronkowski , Jason Pociask Shaun Chapas and Isaiah Greenhouse ; WRs Tysson Poots , Manuel Johnson , Lyle Leong and Teddy Williams ; DBs Akwasi Owusu-Ansah , Mario Butler , Chris Randle , Andrew Sendejo , Josh Thomas and Collin Zych ; LBs Mike Balogun , Kenwin Cummings , Orie Lemon , and Brandon Williams ; DE Jimmy Saddler-McQueen and RB Lonyae Miller .
Cowboys sign Greenhouse
(3/1/2011) The Cowboys signed LB Isaiah Greenhouse to their reserve/future list Tuesday. Greenhouse played in two games for the Texans in 2010 as a rookie but did not record any stats. He spent 11 weeks on the club’s practice squad as well, after signing with the Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Northwestern State in Louisiana.
