by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(9/21/2014) The Cardinals defense shutout the 49ers in the second half Sunday, which allowed the offense to rally from a 14-6 halftime deficit and secure a 23-14 win Week 3.

The 49ers, who had a pair of first-half touchdowns, finished with 318 yards, including 82 rushing yards.

The Cardinals defensive forced no turnovers and recorded one sack. Safety Tony Jefferson totaled a team-high 10 tackles (eight solo) and had the quarterback takedown of Colin Kaepernick. Safety Rashad Johnson had eight solo tackles and safety Tyrann Mathieu had six solo tackles.

The Cardinals are on a Week 4 bye before returning to action Week 5 at Denver.
