Seahawks DE Cassius Marsh (foot) recovered and 100 percent

(3/26/2015) Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said defensive end Cassius Marsh is 100 percent after recovering from a broken foot sustained this past October. 

“He’s in great shape,” Carroll said, via ESPN.com. “That’s a tremendous addition. It’s like a brand new draft choice for us because he didn’t really get a chance to get started last year. Cassius is a really high-energy, creative and productive football player. We can’t wait to get him out there. He’s in great shape and looks terrific.”

Marsh only played in five games a season ago and recorded five tackles.

(5/20/2014) The Seahawks signed fourth-round pick Cassius Marsh, a defensive end out of UCLA, to a four-year contract. They also added two rookie free agents, tight end Rashaun Allen and guard Nate Isles.

To make room, Seattle cut tight end Travis Beckum and cornerback Jimmy Legree.

(5/10/2014) With the 108th pick in the NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected defensive end Cassius Marsh from UCLA.

Marsh is listed at 6-foot-4, 252 pounds, giving him the frame to produce in the next level. He clocked a 4.89 40-yard time. Marsh racked up 55 tackles with six sacks and 8.5 tackles for a loss in 2013.
