News: The 49ers promoted wide receiver Chad Hall from the practice squad Saturday, giving them added depth at the position for the NFC Championship showdown at Atlanta. Hall has spent most of the season on the practice squad after being released by Philadelphia in the preseason.
Analysis: Hall has not appeared in an NFL game since 2011 -- with the Eagles -- and is unlikely to get much playing time against the Falcons. He has 14 career receptions and two touchdowns, but is not considered a worthwhile Fantasy option at this point.
News: Eagles WR Chad Hall recorded his first catch of the season in Week 12 against the Patriots. He gained 16 yards on one catch and also had a 2-yard run in the 38-20 loss.
Analysis: Hall is mainly used on special teams in Philadelphia and poses minimal Fantasy value going forward. Continue to ignore him in all leagues.
News: The Eagles promoted WR Chad Hall from the practice squad Wednesday and released safety Jarrad Page to make room on the roster.
Analysis: The Eagles could use some receiver depth with the injuries to Jeremy Maclin, which could keep him out Week 11. However, Hall will not replace Maclin's production if he sits out, so continue to ignore him in Fantasy.
News: The Eagles trimmed their roster further on Saturday, and some notable players were let go. Among them were WRs Sinorice Moss and Chad Hall, DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, TE Donald Lee and DT Anthony Hargrove.
Analysis: Though all of the aforementioned players have solid regular-season experience, they were fighting for reserve spots on the roster. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on where they land, but neither of them should be owned in the majority of leagues until they prove their worth.
News: With numerous players inactive for Philadelphia in Week 17 against Dallas, WR Chad Hall stepped up and had the best game of his young career. He led the Eagles in catches, receiving yards and hauled in their lone touchdown in the 14-13 loss. Hall caught a 4-yard scoring strike from QB Kevin Kolb in the second quarter and finished with six catches for 84 yards. He was targeted eight times in the defeat and had a long reception of 48.
Analysis: Hall entered Sunday with just five catches for 31 yards in his career and took advantage of DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin not playing for the Eagles. He showed some nice things in his career performance but it was too small of a sample size to base his Fantasy value on. Keep an eye on him during the playoffs but plan on ignoring the 24-year-old on Draft Day in 2011.
News: Eagles WR Chad Hall has lined up in the backfield on several occasions for the team and the Week 14 game against the Cowboys was no different. He even received two shovel passes -- that were more like runs -- from QB Michael Vick. Hall caught the short ones for 12 yards.
Analysis: Hall is looking like the Eagles No. 2 RB behind LeSean McCoy, because Jerome Harrison received only one carry Sunday night. Hall was even in there on the team's opening possession near the goal-line where he caught a pass for no gain. But regardless of who the second back is behind McCoy, the Eagles will not utilize him enough to warrant Fantasy value for now. Continue to ignore Hall in Fantasy play.
News: Eagles WR Chad Hall, who entered the game with only one catch on the season, got his second Week 6 against the Falcons. It went for 5 yards. He also got a chance to run the ball, carrying once for 5 yards.
Analysis: DeSean Jackson's head injury allowed Hall to see the field a little more than usual, but he's still too low on the depth chart to make a significant contribution in Fantasy. You can leave him on waivers for Week 7 at Tennessee.
News: WR Chad Hall caught his first NFL pass in the Week 5 win over the 49ers, it went for 9 yards.
Analysis: Hall was working on F-16s in the Air Force before making his NFL debut. He should be ignored in all Fantasy play.
News: The following players have been added to the Eagles practice squad: WR Chad Hall, RB Martell Mallett, C A.Q. Shipley, G Dallas Reynolds and DT Jeff Owens.
Analysis: Hall would need to come off the practice squad and join the 53-man roster before he has any value in Fantasy leagues.
News: The Eagles have signed WR Chad Hall to a contract. Hall will try to earn a roster spot with the Eagles this season.
Analysis: Hall he has minimal Fantasy value even if he makes the final team. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
