Raiders sign OT J'Marcus Webb

(4/2/2015) The Raiders announced on Thursday that they have signed offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb to a contract. 

Webb was previously with the Vikings from 2013-2014 and spent time with the Bears from 2010-2012. He's appeared in 55 games and has notched 45 starts. Webb reunites with Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who was on the Vikings staff in 2013.

Chiefs pare roster down to 53

(8/30/2014) The Chiefs have announced their final round of cuts and other moves to reach the league-mandated roster of 53 players.

Among the offensive players let go are fullback Jordan Campbell, wide receivers Fred Williams and Mark Harrison, guard Ricky Henry, tackle J'Marcus Webb and running back Charcandrick West.

The defensive players gone from the roster are safeties Jonathon Amaya and Malcolm Bronson, linemen Dominique Hamilton, Kyle Love and Kona Schwenke, linebackers Alonzo Highsmith, Devan Walker and Nico Johnson and cornerbacks Justin Rogers and DeMarcus Van Dyke .

The Chiefs have also placed Tyler Bray and Kyle Williams on IR and Mike Catapano on the non-football injury list.

Bears waive three-year starter J'Marcus Webb

(8/30/2013) Offensive tackle J'Marcus Webb started 44 of the 46 games he played with the Bears, including all 32 the last two seasons, but that apparently guaranteed nothing in 2013. He has been waived, according to the National Football Post.

"It'll be good to have a fresh start," Webb wrote on his Facebook page. "3 years of starting with no injuries? I'll be OK."

Webb was snagged by the Bears in the seventh round of the 2010 draft.
