Delmas has been on the injury report for weeks due to a knee injury. As usual, he took off Friday's practice. Delmas has played despite missing practice on Friday for multiple weeks now. Ansah was limited in practice each day this week.

Ansah had his ankle heavily wrapped, and was seen doing sled drills with the third team. He was inactive Week 10 due to the injury. The team has not released his status for Week 11.

Ansah hurt his ankle Week 8 and the Lions were on a bye Week 9.

The Lions are on a bye Week 9 before returning to action Week 10 at Chicago.

(10/27/2013) Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah injured his left ankle on Sunday during the Week 8 win over Dallas. Ansah left the game and could not return for the Detroit defense.

Ansah finished the game with two tackles for the Lions. He has 19 tackles on the season to go with three sacks in his first season in the NFL. The Lions have a bye Week 9 and return Week 10 at Chicago.

Among players listed on the injury report on the defensive side of the ball, all seven players were able to take the field. They include: defensive linemen Ezekiel Ansah (abdomen) and Israel Idonije (hamstring); defensive backs Louis Delmas (knee), Chris Houston (hamstring), Rashean Mathis (head) and Glover Quin (ankle); and linebacker Ashlee Palmer (ankle).

(9/23/2013) Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah had a big game on Sunday during the Week 3 road win at Washington. The rookie out of BYU recorded seven tackles and two sacks of quarterback Robert Griffin III in the game.

The 24-year-old Ansah now has 2 1/2 sacks on his first season in the NFL. He's made 11 tackles in three games and also has a forced fumble for the Lions.
