DeQuan Menzie hangs it up after two seasons

(7/27/2014) Panthers coach Ron Rivera told reporters that cornerback DeQuan Menzie has retired, according to the Charlotte Observer. The fifth-round selection in 2012 was waived by the team on Saturday. Menzie nearly confirmed the news with a cryptic tweet on Sunday.

(5/8/2012) The Kansas City Chiefs filled one of their biggest needs with a massive gamble, selecting Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe with the No. 11 pick in the NFL draft. He was one of three defenders the team drafted: The other two were Alabama cornerback DeQuan Menzie and San Diego State defensive tackle Jerome Long.
