(12/29/2013) Usually proficient wideouts Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson did little Sunday to help their Patriots beat Buffalo. Amendola caught one pass for 9 yards while Dobson added one reception for 6 yards before injuring his foot and leaving the game.

Also making a dent for New England was running back James Develin with one carry for 4 yards.

(12/8/2013) Patriots running back Stevan Ridley returned from a one-game forced absence for fumbling and held onto the ball Sunday against the Browns. He rushed for 35 yards on eight attempts and added one catch for 2 yards.

Also snagging one each for New England were running back James Develin (31 yards), wide receiver Austin Collie (5 yards) and tight end Matthew Mulligan (15 yards).

Great individual effort nets James Develin first career TD

(12/1/2013) Patriots fullback James Develin will never forget Sunday's 34-31 win at Houston since it was highlighted by his first career touchdown. Develin got only two carries for 4 yards in the game, but he scored from 1-yard out in the third quarter and it was quite the impressive individual effort.

Develin tried to leap over the pile for the touchdown, but he was knocked backward by the defense. Luckily, Develin kept his feet churning and spun out of at least four more tackles before finally bullying his way in for the touchdown.

The Patriots are back in action Week 14 vs. Cleveland.

(9/30/2013) Five Patriots caught exactly one pass against the Falcons, including rookie wideout Josh Boyce and rookie running back James Develin. Boyce caught a 24-yard pass among three targets, while Develin caught his only target for 15 yards.

Boyce saw more action after Aaron Dobson left with a neck injury.
