(10/27/2014) The Browns claimed tight end Ryan Taylor off waivers from the Ravens, reports the Baltimore Sun. Taylor spent his first four seasons with Green Bay, catching eight passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Canty and Jernigan had been ruled out prior to the contest. Marlon Brown was listed as doubtful, while Osemele was considered questionable.

Packers get minor contributions

(12/8/2013) Tight end Brandon Bostick, tight end Ryan Taylor and wide receiver Myles White all made minor contributions for the Packers against the Falcons in Week 14. Bostick had two catches for 28 yards. Taylor had two for seven. White had one for 5.

Bostick has been the biggest contributor of the three in recent weeks, catching seven passes for 120 yards in his last five games. He got four targets in Week 14, tying him with Jordy Nelson for fourth on the team.

(11/28/2013) The Packers' Week 13 loss at the Lions was ugly -- a 40-10 collapse on Thanksgiving. Some Packers who produced some decent numbers include fullback/third-down back John Kuhn (10 total yards), tight end Ryan Taylor (an 8-yard catch) and tight end Andrew Quarless (a 7-yard catch. Taylor left the game and was evaluated for a concussion. 

The Packers host the Falcons in Week 14.

Taylor caught two passes (on three targets) for 11 yards, and Ross caught one pass (on two targets) for 8 yards. Ross actually did more harm than good, though, fumbling a kickoff to give the Bengals the ball inside the 5-yard line early in the first quarter.

(5/2/2011) The Green Bay Packers have selected North Carolina H-back Ryan Taylor with a seventh-round pick in the NFL draft. At 6-3 and 254 pounds, Taylor was listed as a tight end in school after converting from linebacker but likely would project as a fullback for the Packers. He also played on special teams for the Tar Heels.
