Falcons reveal Week 16 inactives

by Larry Hartstein | Senior Analyst
(12/23/2013) Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (knee) heads the Falcons' list of Week 16 inactives. Also sitting out Monday at San Francisco are rookie wideout Darius Johnson (ankle), safety Zeke Motta (hand, neck), running back Josh Vaughan, offensive tackles Terren Jones and Sean Locklear, and defensive tackle Travian Robertson.

Limited to seven games, Weatherspoon has 38 tackles and an interception.

Three Falcons play minimal role

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(12/15/2013) Falcons wide receiver Darius Johnson, running back Jason Snelling and fullback Patrick DiMarco all made small contributions Week 15 against the Redskins.

Johnson, who went without a catch last week at Green Bay, caught three passes for 19 yards. Snelling had one carry for no gain and one catch for 3 yards. DiMarco had one catch for 7 yards.

Falcons backup pass-catchers do little Week 13

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12/1/2013) Falcons backup pass-catchers Darius Johnson, Levine Toilolo, Patrick DiMarco and Jason Snelling failed to do much Week 13 against the Bills.

Johnson played the largest role, catching two passes for 16 yards. He received four targets. Toilolo caught one pass for 12 yards. DiMarco also had one catch, but picked up just 5 yards. Snelling had one catch for 3 yards. They’ll take on the Packers Week 14.

Drew Davis stands out over Darius Jonson, Brian Robiskie

by Scott White | Senior Fantasy Writer
(10/20/2013) Falcons wide receiver Drew Davis, one of the many relative unknowns expected to get more work with Julio Jones out for the year, got only one target Week 7 against the Buccaneers, but he may have earned more with it, making a leaping, one-armed grab late in the third quarter that helped set up the team's final touchdown.

Darius Johnson played the most, but he finished with just two catches for 24 yards. Recently signed Brian Robiskie couldn't make good on his only target.

(9/1/2013) The Falcons signed eight players to their practice squad: fullback Patrick DiMarco, quarterback Seth Doege, wideouts Darius Johnson and James Rodgers, cornerback Jordan Mabin, guard Phillipkeith Manley, defensive tackle Adam Replogle and tight end Mickey Shuler.
