News: The Jets waived wide receiver Raymond Webber on Saturday.
Analysis: Webber has limited Fantasy appeal as he'll need to find a new place to play in 2012.
News: The Jets waived LS Derek Chard, DT Matt Hardison, WR Dexter Jackson, CB LeQuan Lewis, S Marcus Lott and WR Raymond Webber on Saturday.
Analysis: None of these players were expected to produce numbers for Fantasy owners in the first place. Leave them off rosters.
News: The Jets signed receiver Raymond Webber on Tuesday. Webber, of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, signed as an undrafted free agent with Tampa Bay last July and was placed on injured reserve in September. He was waived last month, claimed by Seattle and cut a week later.
Analysis: Webber will struggle to make the final roster for the Jets, but keep an eye on his progress. He should not be drafted in the majority of leagues.
News: The Buccanneers announced on Sunday that they placed Raymond Webber on the injured reserve. He tore three tendons in his hamstring injury during camp.
Analysis: Webber had drawn some prose during camp for consistent play, but he will have to wait until 2012 to compete for a roster spot once again. The undrafted rookie caught over 100 passes at Arkansas Pine in one season and he had a shot to make the squad as a reserve. Fantasy owners should ignore Webber in all formats on Draft Day.
