(3/2/2007) The Panthers re-signed linebacker Na'il Diggs to a one-year contract on Friday. Diggs started 10 games at outside linebacker and had 68 tackles last season, his first with Carolina after spending the first six years of his career with Green Bay. The move means Carolina is set to return 21 of 22 starters from last year's team that went 8-8. Only safety Shaun Williams, who like Diggs became an unrestricted free agent Friday, is unsigned. The Panthers on Friday also released safety Kevin McCadam, who played mostly on special teams last season.
