News: Rams FB Madison Hedgecock recently underwent surgery to repair a broken thumb. It is hoped Hedgecock will be able to play Oct. 29 at San Diego. Hedgecock was injured on the first series of the game against Seattle. Meanwhile, the team is hopeful FB Paul Smith will be back for the Nov. 19 game against Carolina, although there have been some hints he somehow might be available for the Chargers. Smith underwent surgery to repair muscle damage around his eye on Oct. 10, and coach Scott Linehan said he would be out for three to five weeks after the surgery.	Analysis: Neither player is of Fantasy value whenever they return to action.
