(11/24/2013) Bears defensive end David Bass recorded a sack in the team's 42-21 loss to the Rams. It was his first sack of the season.

(9/29/2013) The Bears have made WRs Marquess Wilson & Joe Anderson, CB Sherrick McManis, OLs James Brown & Jonathan Scott, DE David Bass and DT Zach Minter inactive for Week 4 against the Lions.

The only player listed on the injury list who is inactive is CB Sherrick McManis. McManis has been dealing with a quadriceps injury.

Included are left tackle Jonathan Scott, wide receiver Marquess Wilson, cornerback C.J. Wilson , running back Michael Ford, guard James Brown, defensive end David Bass and defensive tackle Zach Minter.

(9/1/2013) The Bears claimed defensive end David Bass off waivers from Oakland, which drafted him in the seventh round in April. To make room, Chicago waived defensive end Cheta Ozougwu.

Raiders trim down to 53 players

(8/31/2013) The Raiders officially finalized their 53-man roster Saturday by placing wide receiver Andre Holmes and guard Tony Bergstrom on the Reserve/Suspended List by the NFL.

Oakland also released defensive end Andre Carter, linebacker Omar Gaither, tackle Tony Hills, safety Reggie Smith, and cornerback Joselio Hanson.

In addition, the Raiders also waived the following 15 players from the roster: defensive tackle Ryan Baker, defensive end David Bass, linebacker Billy Boyko, defensive back Chance Casey, guard Jason Foster, tight end Richard Gordon, wide receiver Greg Jenkins, defensive back Shelton Johnson, tight end Brian Leonhardt, guard Lamar Mady, kicker Justin Medlock, defensive tackle Kurt Taufa'asau, linebacker Chase Thomas, wide receiver Conner Vernon and running back Deonte Williams.
