News: The Dolphins cut wide receiver Jabar Gaffeny the team announced Tuesday. Gaffney had four catches for 68 yards in three games with Miami. Kyle Miller, who was claimed off waivers from the Colts, was signed to the 53-man roster.
Analysis: Miller was signed to provide some depth at the tight end position and is not expected to play a big role on Sunday's. Fantasy owners should continue to ignore him in all formats at this point in the season.
News: The Colts promoted tight end Kyle Miller from the practice squad to the active roster Monday.
Analysis: Miller will be just roster depth for the Colts until Coby Fleener (shoulder) is healthy. Ignore Miller in Fantasy.
News: The Indianapolis Colts have signed tight end Kyle Miller. Miller was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars before last season, but he was waived prior to the start of the regular season. The four-year letterman at Division III power Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, had 62 receptions for 872 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior.
Analysis: Miller is a longshot to make the roster much less play on a regular basis. Keep him off of rosters.
News: The Florida Times-Union reports that the Jaguars trimmed their TE corps on Friday. The team was carrying six players at the position, so they let half of the group go. Joey Haynos and rookies Tommy Gallarda and Kyle Miller were let go along with punt returner Scotty McGee wide receivers Armon Binns and Dontrelle Inman, linebacker Scott Lutrus and defensive tackle Andrew Lewis.
Analysis: None of the players were expected to challenge starters for their jobs had they made the squad, so there was minimal Fantasy expectation as well. Ignore them until their play proves otherwise.
