(12/22/2013) Two greatly used Steelers wideouts caught just three passes between them Sunday at Green Bay, but one was a biggie.

That one was a 1-yard scoring snag in the first quarter by Emmanuel Sanders, who finished with two receptions for 7 yards. Jerricho Cotchery caught one pass for 9 yards in the win.

Also pitching in were running backs Jonathan Dwyer, who both ran and received for 7 yards, and fullback Will Johnson, who caught one pass for 6 yards. Fellow back Felix Jones had one rushing attempt for 6 yards.

Running back Jonathan Dwyer added 7 yards on six attempts and caught a pass for 1 yard.

Also notable was that wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery was blanked for the first time since Oct. 13. He had caught five touchdown passes in his previous three games.

Will Johnson appears set to play against Bengals

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(9/13/2013) Steelers fullback Will Johnson was active for the season opener, but not really. He dressed, but a hamstring pull sustained in the preseason finale prevented him from playing. Johnson, however, appears ready to roll for the Week 2 game in Cincinnati, according to Steelers Depot. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday.

With Johnson out, the team used a fullback only once in the loss to Tennessee. The play resulted in an Isaac Redman fumble in the end zone for a touchback.
