Ravens unveil Week 12 inactives

by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com
(11/24/2014) The Ravens declared wideout Michael Campanaro (thigh), nose tackle Terrence Cody, linebacker Arthur Brown, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, center Gino Gradkowski, offensive tackle Jah Reid and cornerback Rashaan Melvin inactive for Monday's game at New Orleans.

Terrence Cody among Ravens inactive Week 10

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(11/9/2014) Ravens defensive tackle Terrence Cody, defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, center Gino Gradkowski, offensive lineman Jah Reid, cornerback Rashaan Melvin, wide receiver Michael Campanaro and safety Brynden Trawick were all ruled inactive Week 10 vs. Tennessee.

Ravens list Week 9 inactives

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/2/2014) The Ravens have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 9 matchup with the Steelers: wide receiver Michael Campanaro (thigh), cornerback Jimmy Smith (foot), safety Terrence Brooks, linebacker Zach Orr, defensiven end Lawrence Guy and offensive linemen Gino Gradkowski and Jah Reid.

Both Campanaro and Smith were ruled out on Friday's injury report. The Ravens had three players listed as questionable, and all are active for the NFC North battle.

Ravens announce Week 8 inactives vs. Bengals

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(10/26/2014) The Ravens have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday's Week 8 matchup with the Bengals: tight end Owen Daniels (wrist), defensive lineman Chris Canty (wrist), running back Bernard Pierce, cornerback Chykie Brown, linebacker Arthur Brown and offensive linemen Gino Gradkowski and Jah Reid.

Pierce's de-activation comes as a surprise, but he's averaged 2.1 and 2.6 yards per carry in the team's last two games, though he's scored a touchdown in each. The Ravens' goal-line looks could shift to Lorenzo Taliaferro with Pierce unavailable.

Daniels and Canty had already been ruled out, but the Ravens are otherwise very healthy heading into the key matchup against the Bengals. Four players listed as probable are active for the game, including Steve Smith (not injury related), linebacker Daryl Smith (not injury related) and offensive linemen Eugene Monroe (knee) and Kelechi Osemele (knee).

Ravens' Jeremy Zuttah will start at center

by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer
(3/25/2014) Ravens coach John Harbaugh confirmed to ESPN that newly acquired center Jeremy Zuttah will start for them ahead of Gino Gradkowski. Zuttah was brought on the roster in exchange for a draft pick last week.

Gino Gradkowski to have offseason surgery

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12/31/2013) Ravens center Gino Gradkowski will have offseason surgery on his knee.

The surgery will clean out cartilage in Gradkowski's knee. He was able to play through the injury this season, starting all 16 games.

Ravens quartet questionable for Sunday game

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(12/27/2013) Four top Ravens have been deemed questionable for the battle against Cincinnati on Sunday. They are running back Ray Rice and wide receiver Torrey Smith, both with thigh injuries, linebacker Elvis Dumervil (ankle) and offensive lineman Gino Gradkowski (knee).

Preseason run blocking a concern for Ravens

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(8/29/2013) Even Ray Rice needs effective run blocking and he won't get it if his offensive line struggles in the regular season to the extent it has in the preseason, offers Pro Football Focus.

Five linemen who have started for the Ravens have received negative run grades from the site, including left guard Kelechi Osemele, centers Gino Gradkowski and A.Q. Shipley, right guard Jah Reid and right tackle Michael Oher. It's no wonder that Rice has averaged a meager 2.9 yards per carry.

Osemele has struggled the most with a minus-6.8 grade that ranks lowest in the NFL at his position among all players who remain on a roster. Osemele started all 16 games in 2012 at tackle before moving to guard in the postseason.

Ravens center battle a 'very, very competitive situation'

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(8/28/2013) Although it appears Gino Gradkowski is the favorite to win the job as the starting center for the Ravens, offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell said Monday the competition with A.Q. Shipley is ongoing, according to the Carroll County Times. Both players have shared time with the first-team offense.

"It’s still a very, very competitive situation," Caldwell said. "Obviously nothing’s been determined at this point, so it’s still a battle going on. … It’s a real tight race."

Gino Gradkowski looks like Ravens starting center
