Saints extend offensive lineman Senio Kelemete

(2/9/2015) The Saints signed offensive lineman Senio Kelemete to a one-year contract extension on Monday.

Kelemete confirmed the news on his personal Twitter account, writing, "Just signed another 1 year deal with the @Saints #GloryToGod for the opportunity 2015 is my year!"

Kelemete appeared in 10 games for the Saints in 2014. Before this one-year extension, Kelemete was set to be an exclusive-rights free agent.


Saints to retain G Senio Kelemete

(2/9/2015) The Saints have told reserve guard Senio Kelemete they'll bring him back next season on a one-year contract for $585,000, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune. The exclusive rights free agent, who turns 25 in May, spent last season as a backup guard and emergency center.

The others are defensive backs Stanley Jean-Baptiste and Terrence Frederick, nose tackle Lawrence Virgil, tackle Nick Becton, linebacker Moise Fokou and guard Senio Kelemete.

(9/14/2014) Healthy scratches dominate the inactive list released Sunday by the Saints in Cleveland. The lone two injured players are safety Marcus Ball (hamstring) and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle).

The other inactives are wideouts Nick Toon and Joseph Morgan, cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, guard Senio Kelemente and defensive end Glenn Foster.

Jean-Baptiste, Kelemete, Toon and Jenkins are all healthy scratches.
