NFL announced special teams Pro-Bowlers

(12/27/2013) The NFL unveiled the Pro Bowl rosters for 2014Friday, and they come with a twist; for the first time, selections were made without regard for conference. The teams will be chosen via televised draft Jan. 22.

The special teams selections are as follows:

Punter: Brandon Fields, Dolphins; Johnny Hekker, Rams.

Placekicker: Matt Prater, Broncos; Justin Tucker, Ravens.

Punt returner: Antonio Brown, Steelers; Dexter McCluster, Chiefs.

Special teamer: Justin Bethel, Cardinals; Matthew Slater, Patriots.


Nine injured Cardinals get the green light for Week 16

(12/22/2013) The Cardinals have ruled wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (concussion), tight end Rob Housler (groin), quarterback Carson Palmer (ankle, right elbow), linebacker Matt Shaughnessy (groin), defensive back Justin Bethel (wrist), linebacker Karlos Dansby (foot), running back Andre Ellington (quadriceps), wide receiver Michael Floyd (ankle) and running back Rashard Mendenhall (finger) active for Sunday's contest against Seattle in Week 16.

Three Cardinals listed as probable

(12/20/2013) The Cardinals have listed CB Justin Bethel, LB Karlos Dansby and OL Dontay Moch as probable Week 16 against the Seahawks. 

Bethel is dealing with a wrist injury. He was able to fully practice Thursday and Friday. Moch and Dansby were both able to fully participate in practice Friday.

Bethel is dealing with a concussion. He sat out Thursday's practice, but was able to return on a limited basis Friday.

(11/22/2013) Cardinals WR Brittan Golden and CB Justin Bethel are questionable Week 12 against the Colts.

Golden is dealing with a hamstring injury, but was able to participate in practice on a limited basis this week. Bethel is dealing with a concussion, and was able to return to practice Friday on a limited basis.

(11/17/2013) Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said following Sunday's game at Jacksonville cornerback Justin Bethel was being evaluated for a concussion. Bethel was hurt on a special teams play.
