Seahawks to have Marshawn Lynch, Jeremy Lane Week 15

(12/14/2014) The Seahawks will have running back Marshawn Lynch and corner Jeremy Lane Week 15 against the 49ers.

Lynch came into the contest listed as probable due to a back injury. He's battled the issue all season, but has been able to play through it. Lane is dealing with a glute injury.

(12/12/2014) Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch (back) was one of the two Seattle players listed as probable for Sunday's divisional clash against San Francisco. The other player listed as probable is cornerback Jeremy Lane (glute), per the team's official website.

Tight end Cooper Helfet (ankle) has a chance to play and has been listed as questionable, according to coach Pete Carroll. Center Max Unger (knee, ankle) was designated as doubtful, while defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (ankle) was ruled out for Week 15.


Seahawks list inactives for Week 14

(12/7/2014) The Seahawks have listed Bryan Walters, Jeremy Lane, Allen Bradford, Max Unger, Travian Robertson, Cooper Helfet and RaShaun Allen as inactive for Week 14 against the Eagles.

Helfet came into the contest listed as doubtful due to an ankle injury. Lane was questionable with a glute issue. The other five players listed are healthy scratches.

(12/5/2014) After participating fully in Friday’s practice, the Seahawks listed running back Marshawn Lynch (back) as probable for Sunday’s game at Philadelphia.

The Seahawks also listed Michael Bennett (toe) and Byron Maxwell (shin) as probable. Tight end Cooper Helfet (ankle) is listed as doubtful and cornerback Jeremy Lane (glute) is questionable. Only center Max Unger (knee/ankle) has been ruled out.

(12/1/2014) Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane is expected to return this week, coach Pete Carroll told reporters Monday, per the Everett Herald. Lane was unable to play Thursday against San Francisco because of a glute injury. He has one forced fumble and 11 total tackles in four games played.

(11/27/2014) The Seahawks have listed the following players as inactive for Thursday night's matchup with the 49ers: cornerback Jeremy Lane (glute), center Max Unger (ankle), tight ends Cooper Helfet (ankle) and RaShaun Allen, linebackers Kevin Pierre-Louis (shoulder) and Allen Bradford and defensive tackle Travian Robertson .

Helfet, Pierre-Louis and Unger had all been previously ruled out for the Week 13 game, while Lane was questionable. Also questionable to play was defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (knee), but he's active for the game.

(11/26/2014) The Seahawks have released their Week 13 injury report.

Marshawn Lynch is listed as probable due to a back injury. He was able to put in full practice on Wednesday. Jermaine Kearse, Marcus Burley and James Carpenter have also been ruled probable. 

Demarcus Dobbs and Jeremy Lane are listed as questionable. Dobbs is dealing with a knee injury. Lane has a glute issue.

Finally, Max Unger, Cooper Helfet and Kevin Pierre-Louis have been ruled out. None of the three were able to practice during the week. 


Luke Willson, Jeremy Lane good to go Week 11

(11/16/2014) Seahawks tight end Luke Willson and corner Jeremy Lane are both active Week 11 against the Chiefs.

Willson and Lane both came into the contest listed as questionable. Willson is dealing with an ankle injury. Lane has a groin injury. 

The team will also have all their probable players. Michael Bennett, Kam Chancellor, Cooper Helfet and Malcolm Smith will all be available for the game.

(11/14/2014) The Seahawks have listed 11 players on its final injury report for Week 11 against the Chiefs. Bobby Wagner (toe) was the only player ruled out for Sunday. The team listed James Carpenter (ankle), Brock Coyle (glute) and Marcus Burley (hamstring) as doubtful.

Meanwhile, Marshawn Lynch (calf, rib), Jeremy Lane (groin) and Luke Willson (ankle) were deemed questionable. Kam Chancellor (groin), Michael Bennett (rest), Cooper Helfet (knee) and Malcolm Smith (groin) were all labeled probable.


Seahawks activate Jeremy Lane, place Stephen Schilling on IR

(11/8/2014) The Seahawks activated cornerback Jeremy Lane from injured reserve Saturday and placed interior offensive lineman Stephen Schilling on injured reserve.

Lane suffered a severe groin injury in the season opener but was able to return to practice in October in advance of rejoining the team in Week 10. Schilling has been sidelined by a knee injury since late October.


Seahawks expecting 'six, seven' injured players back Week 10

(11/3/2014) Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on his weekly Monday radio show on ESPN 710 Seattle he expects "six, seven" players that sat out Week 9 vs. Oakland to return Week 10 against the Giants.

Carroll is anticipating Max Unger, Jeremy Lane and Jordan Hill to be back Sunday. He also added Kam Chancellor and Russell Okung should be back after suffering muscle strains in practice last week.

Lastly, Carroll said Byron Maxwell "might" make it back for Week 10, but tight end Zach Miller will not play. It will be the sixth straight game Miller will miss since undergoing ankle surgery in late September.

(10/13/2014) Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane is expected to return to practice this week, according to head coach Pete Carroll during Monday's press conference, per 710 AM ESPN Radio in Seattle. Lane sustained a significantly aggravated his groin injury in the season opener against the Packers on Sept. 4. Lane could be activated as early as Week 8.

(9/5/2014) Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane apparently suffered a serious injury during Thursday's season opener against the Packers, according to head coach Pete Carroll during Friday's press conference.

Lane will be "down for a long time" as a result of the injury, though further details are not yet known at this point. He exited Thursday's game during the third quarter, after aggravating a pre-existing injury.

Lane dealt with a groin injury throughout the week, but was able to get through a full practice Friday. He was able to get through the first half of the game, but left in the third quarter after re-aggravating the injury.

(9/3/2014) Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and is listed as probable for Thursday's season opener against the Packers.

Wide receiver Kevin Norwood and defensive back Jeremy Lane were also full participants in Wednesday's practice. Both players are listed as probable.

Tight end Cooper Helfet, linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis and cornerback Tharold Simon all remained out of practice, and all three have been ruled out.

(9/2/2014) The Seahawks announced that the following players weren't able to practice Tuesday: running back Christine Michael (hamstring), tight end Cooper Helfet (knee), center Lemuel Jeanpierre (neck), linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring) and cornerback Tharold Simon (knee).

Additionally, the following players were limited participants in practice: wide receiver Kevin Norwood (ankle), linebacker Bruce Irvin (hip) and cornerback Jeremy Lane (groin).

With Michael unable to practice Tuesday, it's become more likely that he'll could sit out the team's Thursday night opener against the Packers.

(8/25/2014) Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane sat out Monday's practice while recovering from a groin strain, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.

"We don’t know how serious it is," Carroll said. "We did check it out and it looks like it’s going to be OK, but he’s gotta respond and come back. I don’t know, and we’ll just check him again tomorrow."

Lane suffered the injury in Friday's preseason game.

(11/15/2013) The Seahawks' injury report for Week 11 against the Vikings features a lengthy list of defensive players, the vast majority of whom are expected to play through their injuries. Of the 11 defenders on the injury report, all but two are considered probable for Sunday's game.

The probables for Week 11 include: Defensive linemen Jordan Hill (biceps), Chris Clemons (not injury related), Tony McDaniel (hamstring) and Bruce Irvin (shoulder); defensive backs Jeremy Lane (thigh), Richard Sherman (hip), Kam Chancellor (hip) and Jeron Johnson (hamstring); and linebacker Heath Farwell (knee).
