News: In addition to Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly, the Panthers drafted Oklahoma defensive end Frank Alexander, Coastal Carolina cornerback Josh Norman and Cal safety D.J. Campbell. Alexander is a big, high-motor defender who had 19 tackles for loss last season. Norman's a good cornerback minus the top-end speed, and Campbell is a strong safety who is a good athlete with OK speed who should excel on special teams after doing a lot of it in college.
Analysis: The only guy to eyeball here is Alexander, who could work his way into the defensive line rotation sooner than later given the talent in Carolina. He's worth a late pick in dynasty/keeper leagues and rookie-only drafts. The rest can be ignored.
