Ebert has just three catches for 18 yards this season, but could receive increased reps in the battered Jacksonville receiving corps in the last two games if healthy enough to play.

Wide receiver Kerry Taylor had the best game of the bunch, catching four passes for 42 yards. He was targeted five times. Mike Brown caught three passes for 20 yards. Jeremy Ebert caught one pass for 8 yards. They'll take on the Titans Week 16.

The healthy inactives are wide receiver Jeremy Ebert, cornerback Jamell Fleming, defensive tackle Jeremy Mincey, quarterback Ricky Stanzi and guard Jacques McClendon.

(11/23/2013) The Jaguars made a change to the roster Saturday, moving wide receiver Stephen Williams to injured reserve with an Achilles injury. Williams has been out since Week 8 due to the injury.

The team added receiver Jeremy Ebert to the active roster to take Williams' place. Ebert had been on the practice squad since early October, when he was waived from the active roster. He had two receptions for 10 yards in four games prior to being waived.

(10/8/2013) The Jaguars made a slew of roster moves Tuesday.

They placed three players on injured reserve -- safety Dwight Lowery (concussion), offensive tackle Luke Joeckel (ankle) and tight end Allen Reisner (knee). Reisner has been designated to return, while Lowery and Joeckel are out for the season.

The Jaguars also claimed Sam Young off waivers, promoted offensive tackle DeMarcus Love from the practice squad and signed guard Jacques McClendon. Lastly, the Jaguars signed Jeremy Ebert to the practice squad and waived receiver Tobias Palmer from the practice squad.

Several Jaguars see targets in passing game

(10/6/2013) The Jacksonville Jaguars attempted to spread the ball around on Sunday during the Week 5 loss at St. Louis. Unfortunately, out of tight end D.J. Williams, fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou, and wide receivers Jeremy Ebert and Ace Sanders all seeing targets, only one of those players managed to come down with a catch.

Ta'ufo'ou hauled in one pass for 5 yards. Ebert saw two targets but failed to make a catch. The others all saw just one target from quarterbacks Chad Henne and Blaine Gabbert. The Jaguars play at Denver Week 6.

(8/30/2013) The Jaguars have trimmed its roster down to 54 players after parting ways with backup quarterbacks Mike Kafka and Matt Scott on Friday, the team announced.

Players also released were wide receiver Jeremy Ebert, defensive end Pannel Egboh, running back Jonathan Grimes, linebacker Brandon Marshall, wide receiver Charly Martin, offensive tackle Pat McQuistan, guard Drew Nowak, cornerback Kevin Rutland, defensive tackle D'Anthony Smith, linebacker Julian Stanford and cornerback Marcus Trufant.

Head coach Gus Bradley said the second-year receiver got his "bell rung," according to the Florida Times-Union, but the player said he didn't have any symptoms after practice.
